Woke with a terrible headache this morning....waiting for paracetamols to kick in. DS has not been to great either the last couple days....sore throat etc, hope he hasn't passed on to me ....
Early start at work today, but also early finish thankfully ....have so much to do...............
DMamma wanting to wait till the end of August for the Blackpool break as she has booked for abroad end of the month............Its not much longer I know, but really am desperate for a break....maybe I should have 2 Lol ....more time to save I suppose.
OH keeping up the good work...only 1-2 cans a night ....Oh no!! now thinking should have kept my big mouth shut, always seems to blow back in my face when I say how good he,s been.... but its lovely to see the old him, even holding a normal conversation with him without the worry of saying the wrong thing and then the usual explosions seems strange to me (calm is a wonderful thing)..really hoping this is a turning point for us all.......
Lets hope we are not floating in calm waters before the storm is due to hit....especially as another weekend is looming.
Could just have another cuppa but time ticking so quick shower and out the door I gooooooo...........................

Do take care and look after yourself I think two breaks is what you need. My the was your symptoms sounds exactly like what I have just had not nice at all.

As for the 1-2 cans a day yes that's great as long as he isn't sneaking some in when out of the house. I hope he isn't but remember I have been there and seen it myself.

Thanks TG... I hope so ... I normally know the signs and usually what to look for, but gets me annoyed that I should have to...........I feel I have taken over a new role in the house "His Mother" :(

Carboot planned for tomorrow, early morning 5am....mainly clothes to sell so not expecting to make a fortune but every penny helps get me closer to my mortgage free day....;) (hopefully in 3-4 years)
  • Hope you made many pennies and the drinking has continued to be minimal Xx

Yes they can be.... some nights are terrible, tend to be worse when I am stressed.........but had loads of energy today after a good sleepy last night.................Xx

Wow just stopped for a breather, bought a steam cleaner called a shark from carbooty last week only £9 with all attachments......... took all kitchen blinds down (4 windows).....cleaned frames and glass then cleaned blinds, came up a treat. Then moved on to conservatory gave that a good clean. Totally on an OCD mission, I think everything has had a steam clean...the sofa, the floors, the bathroom, rugs....anything in my path, must have looked like a speed up scene from ghost busters Lol....:D
All DD sorted for July paid, so another £300 into mortgage account today overtime and wages :T, funny how a few years ago I would be wondering what I could spend/waste it on...I really didn't think about the future, my mortgage or saving for my security in my 20's of most of my 30's to think of it "Oh how I wish I hadn't been so silly with money, but no point in having regrets" Done and dusted and at-least I am thinking about it now......:D
The sky has turned very grey and very dark ...Goody lots of heavy raindrops are on there way, love a good rain storm...............................
