Thank you kick, she can be expensive, but love her to bits. What a very nice surprise skinny, I have to say it was you who actually inspired me to start my diary. I came across this site and your diary by accident a few weeks ago, or maybe it was fate. After reading your progress from beginning to end it gave me a well needed kick up backside. I was so inspired to read how organised you are and how much energy and self-control you seemed to have, well most of the time and certainly more than me at the moment. I also admire how you are managing to do this on your own. Saying that my OH is totally useless with money and adds to the debts a lot of the time, I haven't even told him I have set up this diary he would only think I had totally lost the plot, yep he lives for the day, whilst I worry for our future. Well must make a move onward and upwards need to get some of my To Do list out of the way and calm my OCD. Oh and then to take madam moo to the vets teatime, she is not going to be a happy doggy

Well that's lovely to hear, I have to say I don't feel very organised or self controlled, it just all seems to happen somehow!

Well same recurring nightmare last night, my house had been sold and I had no were to live…. so felt pretty crappy this morning and looked even worse, maybe these nightmares are sent to keep me in check, who knows. Had a good start to the day declined offer of nice pot of expensive tea and cake in town. Town = spend in my book, so need to stay away as much as possible, but it was with my lovely mama, she was with a friend thank goodness as would have met up if she was alone. Feeling twinge of guilt for saying no, so will pop over for little visit later tomorrow. This is the hardest part of cutting back on my spending…. having to say the word No to people you love. You see my lovely mama would only insist on paying for me and I can’t have that, so only way round this is I never say no to D mama, to much guilt. Another £50 sliced off my mortgage today now down to £27,340. £2 a day challenge pushed up to £54 after extra cash from teabay. Doggy molly moo vet bill yesterday total £68.00….shocking, but handed over doggy insurance, so hoping to get this back in a week or two. She seems to be coping quite well with this water infection but think she may be a little sore as she keeps dragging her bottom across my carpet and really it’s not a very pleasant sight. I really need to get some more teabay items listed, have slacked off so hence the capitals in my To Do. Another idea to make some extra dosh would be a car boot, yes all my shed, my loft, my spare bedroom full of stuff…………..I could probably have 10 car boots
Was determined to sort my To Do List today but I have totally neglected my little castle and didn’t do to well at all….
Goodnight everyone....please no nightmares for me tonight only sweet dreams please

Not much to report today, managed to have a spend free day, as spent most of it doing house/garden work . My Bingo night tonight cost £10 and yippee won £8, so excellent cheap evening and a good girly night giggle at a grand total of £2. Isn't it funny how when you start to really cut back you seem to appreciate any little extra no matter how small and it gives you such a good feeling, I thought I would waffle on a little, but it is true, something I have noticed recently is in the past winning £8 would mean nothing to me, whereas now I am wondering what debt I can use against . I am now off to bed, looking forward to wednesday, when I can slice another £30 off my mortgage................ Goodnight Diary, Goodnight everyone x

Lovely morning met D mama in naughty town and we had coffee, spend 1, then made our way our favorite charity shops oops spend 2 (lovely M&S top for £1.20 & doggy toy 50p), then made our way to our favorite tea-shop with added home-made quiche spend 3, I know I decided not to say the word no to my D mama but think I may have gone slightly off the rails today. Really can’t say no to my mama especially as she is 80 and a total shopaholic, I think it’s what keeps her fit. Sold a bag on teabay today for £15 very pleased as only paid £10 for it, will use for train tickets tomorrow promised DS a day at Sunderland, a treat I have been putting off and I know won’t be a cheap day. This is a challenge so I am going to try and keep it as cheap as possible, I have already made sandwiches, I will I know get frowned upon and given the look from my DS but he will understand when he is older bless.
Shock of the day received CC statement and has gone up by approx. £40.00 due to interest charges so even though expected still annoyed. Let’s see if I manage to pay £30 off my mortgage tomorrow or will it evaporate in Sunderland ??

Not much to add today diary, had a very nice day not shopping as much as I normally would in Sunderland. Stayed away from usual expensive favorites and stuck to charity shops, found a lovely nexty jumper bargain only £3.99. I did make a few necessary buys, ie face cream needed, fruit, vitamins. I have cancelled my monthly nail girl today and have bought nail varnish £4.48 lovely red, I will buy another but a much more neutral color and hope it is as good as its reviews, lasts 1 week before chipping apparently, so a saving of at least £210 over the year depending on how many bottles I need of course. Then off to poundyland for a lovely nail file set and varnish remover. Paid £20 off CC and £2 teabay a day challenge now up to £76. I think I am wishing my life away as can’t wait for 24th June when I can cut a good slice off my mortgage….
