The spirit of William Wallace not in too much in evidence on this thread it seems!
The Tories won't give us FFA, so we'll go away for the "medium term".
We go from pigeon to chicken! Lol!

If every SNP voter/supporter were acting like William Wallace shouting 'Freeeedom' instead of debating the real issues, you'd certainly have something to say about that. The SNP and everyone else moved on from 'Braveheart' politics quite some time ago.

Also, if the SNP were in Westminster going on and on about FFA...you'd be mocking that too. We'd have graph after endless graph from Hamish saying how it 'wouldn't be possible', fiscal 'black holes' all over the shop, hysterical doom laden oil price forecasts and headlines basically re-running every single argument that have already been done to death in the independence referendum campaign.

And if the SNP don't go full on on FFA, you're convinced that's a bad thing too. Oh so terrible of them not to be taking over the media angry and demanding FFA now !

The SNP can never win with people like you. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. They're just 'baaaaad' whatever they do. As your own posts so prove. So imo, they should stick to the agenda that was set up during the election and their manifesto. The Tories are desperate to institute these excuses of further powers in order to harm the SNP and trap them into electoral oblivion in May 16. The SNP want powers devolved as a priority on order to make any powers granted, actual meaningful ones for Holyrood.

They're right to be pushing for these powers as a matter of urgency. Reserving FFA for later down the line, if ever. Again, FFA is not something which is going to be offered. That at least, is something that is becoming increasingly clear. If even Smith has to be watered down, there's very little chance that FFA will ever see the light of day is there ?
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

You need to read content better.
I only commented to another poster that indeed you may be.
I'd never heard the simili and found it a little amusing.

You've clearly however shown an inability to accept a response in attempts to try and get what you want to hear.

When has the SNP ever worried about the machinations of Unionist Westminster in its calls for immediate independence and FFA before?
The SNP and people like you, have under the cloak of political pragmatism kicked FFA into the long grass because to do otherwise would inflict financial penury on the Scottish people and you know it!
I wonder how relaxed you and the SNP would be if Scotland was a nett contributor to the UK of circa £8 billion instead of the opposite. There would 'hell up' as we say in Cornwall at such an injustice.
The SNP position on FFA is risable.

I've just seen this posted on Twitter re FFA in the Scotland Bill. This might explain a bit about why the SNP having to cool their heels. Though it seems Ian Murray/Wayne David want the clause 'moved' whatever that means... But it seems there was/is to be an independent report into FFA reporting back in March 2016.
    Ian Murray
    Wayne David
NC1 To move the following Clause—

“Independent Commission on Full Fiscal Autonomy
    (1) The Secretary of State shall appoint a commission of between four and eleven
members to conduct an analysis of the
impact of full fiscal autonomy on the
    Scottish economy, labour mark
    et and public finances and
    to report by 31 March
    2016.

    Member’s explanatory statement
This New Clause requires the Secretary of State for Scotland to establish an independent
    commission of external experts, ap
pointed in consultation with the Treasury Select Committee and
Scottish Affairs Select Committee, to publish a report by 31 March 2016 setting out an analysis of
the policy of Full Fiscal Autonomy on the Scottish economy, labour market and public finances.

    Personal... yes suppose your right.
    abuse... nope!

I was just commenting (with comic effect I may add!) that @ISTL replied to your question 4 or 5 times, yet you refused to acknowledge his remarks, insisting that he didn't answer your question. Then you claimed some sort of victory in not acknowledging his replies.

When he remarked about the games of poker or chess being played, It felt fitting to encapsulate your victory stance with the pigeon metaphor.

I hope this has been an enlightening read.

To "move" something is to put forward a recommendation or change to a bill for consideration to the house.

i.e. they want to bring up this change in the next applicable debate on the subject.

Isn't that a Labour amendment designed to highlight the folly of FFA?
