My Supercard has arrived

Still not received mine but got a strange email yesterday. I've already had confirmation that I was signed up in the initial batch but the email says I'm 'one of the lucky few selected to be part of our extended pilot!' As far as I know I didn't make duplicate applications.

The email goes on to say 'there will be a delay before your Supercard wings its way to you. It may be a few weeks'. I wonder if I'm getting the email just because of the delay? This shouldn't affect me but I bet some people will be a bit disappointed if they go on holiday before it arrives.

I called them and they said the same thing. Something about duplicate applications. I think it's when the app was playing up and saying there was a problem sending details so I'd wait and try again.

Anyway my application was accepted, and I received email confirmation. Yesterday I received the same email as you about the delay in getting the card send out.

Hope it's here soon, I've got lots of foreign transactions to make.

No emails (apart from the initial 'You've successfully registered - your Supercard is on its way' email) and still waiting..........

I got the same email yesterday i think its just supercard reassuring people they are getting the card just expect a delay.

I'm not filled with confidence with the initial sign up problems and now a delay it doesn't bode well but i'm happy to be proved wrong. i won't be needing it until august so i'm hoping any teething problems will have been resolved by then.

has anyone who didn't receive the super card in the first two weeks got one ? its been nearly a month after the last email saying afew weeks but no further contact.

I only got mine last week so much longer than two weeks after signing up.

At least people are still getting them i'll wait another week if i don't get the card or they don't make contact i'll message customer support.

Tried to use mine in Portugal this week.
ATM gave me the option of the withdrawal in Euros or sterling, selected Euros.
The ATM then stated that the transaction cannot be completed. didn't have the confidence to try it in a retailer transaction.
Supercard had previously told me that I could change my PIN in the uk at an ATM.
No faith in this card at all.

That sounds like typical ATM transactions in Portugal haha, nothing to do with the card! I've had to reattempt transactions 3 times on the clarity before it would go through in Portugal.

I tried to use my card today on the Terra mitica website paying in euros but got the message " method of payment nonavailable for its card " . I can't find anything on the website that states they only accept proper credit cards . I tried twice to make the payment , may have to just pay with my normal card , unless anyone can advise .
