Right just sat down and pleased to say it was an nsd today :j
I have been thinking about getting the local bin cleaner to do our wheeley bins. As I pulled them in today they really was disgusting. It was shameful. I couldn't even let the man clean them in this state. So I decided to put some washing up liquid and the garden hose in them whilst cooking dinner.
I didn't want to overdo it (my DM is on hols and have strict instructions not to have this baby whilst she is away!), so considering the minimum effort they haven't come up to bad. Definitely not worth getting them cleaned now. When I told DH he couldn't believe I did it, and told me in future he would clean it :money:
Didn't manage to pack baby bag yesterday as DFIL came to help DH with some painting. Was planned ages ago but didn't think he would actually come. They did a lovely job but it did put my day off track. Plus I felt dreadful in the afternoon so I still need to do that.
Dinner and lunch from stores. I also have made lunches for tomorrow.
Should be a nice day tomorrow so going to put washing on to peg out.

Morning - couldn't sleep.
My Halifax credit card arrived yesterday with a balance of £2946.36
Just paid £40 off so that's £2906.36
Going to put the figuresin my signature and then need to come up with a plan. I am just wondering whether it is better to concentrate on this and get it down or to do it slowly whilst building up our pots - Xmas, insurance etc
I know the car insurance is due soon and this is the first year I don't have a pot for it. So that will probably push the balance up a bit.
Mmmm I am inclined to do it slowly whilst we get our pots built up so we don't, in theory, get back here again.

Good luck with your plan Laura - seems building up pots would suit you.
I'm a bit more of a pay it all off straight away type of gal but it depends on what works for you and your situation.
I'll look forwardto seeing your plan!

Just typed a long post then lost it:mad:
Anyway first day of maternity leave today :j
Ive just took DH to the station and already pegged out a load of washing. Looks like it will be a beautiful sunny day. I'm determined not to waste this time but also get as much rest as I can.
Got a to do list as long as my arm which includes sorting the monthly budget as I'm on maternity leave now so fewer pennies. Right best crack on!Working to a better Life for our family

Been up the hospital due to swelling in my leg. Had to inject myself twice a day which was really awful.
Had a scan today on my leg and all came back clear so back to normal now. No more injections. Yay
Hopefully back to normal now. We are away this weekend. It was booked before I found out I was pregnant. Hopefully will do us both good some quality time together. I think DH needs it.
Will do a proper update after the weekend xxWorking to a better Life for our family

Right where was I. Just having lunch in the garden so thought I would do a long overdue update.
Weekend away was just lovely and definitely did DH some good. Not too expensive either.
The 0% on my credit card ends this month so have been looking at the cards with no fee for balance transfer.
Cleaned downstairs yesterday. So finished that off this morning and done our bedroom and baby bedroom. Still have office and bathroom to do, but will probably go and see my mum this afternoon so I'll do those tomorrow.
Got 3rd load of washing on and telephoned council about changing my details to my married name.
Need to do list of all the places I need to contact re my married name.
Going out with my mum tomorrow to look at dining room tables as we desperately need a new one before baby comes. At this moment in time we have no where for visitors to sit.
My due date is next week so hopefully baby will make an appearance soon.
It's My first pay this month on maternity so will be lower than normal. I have got into the habit of popping to the shops after taking DH to the station in the morning. Today £7 on food, yesterday £21 on food. This needs to stop :mad:Working to a better Life for our family
