I follow lots of bloggers and chat to many too. Most are lovely and I have never seen any of these bloggers post anything nagative about compers. These bloggers usually have their blog comps posted on here and many post them onto Super Lucky Di's site - which is a site for compers I have probably missed out loads more but these were from my head as I ran through the alphabet!

I don't know whether someone could put this list somewhere as a sticky so it can be added to. We could also have a list of those bloggers who do not wish compers to enter their comps/do not wish their blog comps posted on here?

As they say on ads -

past performance is not necessarily an indication of future performance

the fact someone has won (or not) from site has no bearing on how the site has or might run competitions in the future - if they wanted to keep visitor numbers up they could just have a few "real" winners in with their "chosen" ones and creating a "nice" persona could all be part of that.

I agree totally, something similar is mentioned above, but if we were sceptical of all comps we would never enter anything, we can only give folks the benefit of the doubt

Yes, but we don't have lists of sites that some people say are ok so why should blogs be treated any differently?

I am more concerned about knowing about the bloggers who simply won't choose a comper as a winner - I don't want to be wasting my time entering or tweeting daily to win a prize I have no chance of winning anyway - and I am sure many others on here feel the same. Bloggers who don't want compers entering and don't want their comps listed on here should surely agree with their name being added to a list.

I posted the list of above because I know these bloggers are friendly and don't mind who enters their comps, and as long as they are seen to have entered truthfully (ie not cheated), then they will happily send out the prize to a comper is if they are chosen as the winner.

I would be happy for anti-compers bloggers to be added to the list of comps not to be posted on MSE - and this list already exists: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5200313 So we don't really need a list of pro-comper bloggers but we do need a list of anti-comper bloggers
