I had a little disagreement over a missing prize with one of the bloggers involved here a couple of years ago, I got the impression then that they thought they were above the law - until the ASA enlightened them and the prize was grudgingly dispatched along with a flurry of emailed abuse.

Seems they didn't learn anything from this.

Another one to add to the list. It is annoying that there is no fair way to highlight the bloggers that love compers entering. There are a lot of us, but Dex is right, there is potential for manipulation, so it would be impossible.

@KirstieLouiseS babe I've had to write about 5 posts 'explaining' various things over the past year.. Don't worry about it. I agree with you daisydaisyxxo @daisydaisyxxo · 14h 14 hours ago

@KirstieLouiseS and hate compers entering. They might be normal people but aren't genuine readers and supports. I get you 100%!! Xxx

A prime example of a blogger that didn't like compers was this one

    http://www.iamnrc.com/2014/07/11/win-a-huawei-g6-1000/#comment-6019

Win A Huawei G6 & £1000 ........ Wow, only 21 entries (21 unique comments on blog & 1 after it had ended) after she deleted all the "compers"
and yet still nearly a year later it says
*THE COMPETITION HAS ENDED AND I’M WAITING FOR THE WINNER TO ALLOW ME TO PRINT THEIR NAME.*

Hmmm, I wonder which "friend" she gave the prize to?
Yes, I know there is no "R" in the word dream in my username - it was setup in memory of my grandson :A

We would easily recognise the names of regular compers if they posted here they had won ;)

    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

I won £50 Amazon Voucher and £100 B&Q Voucher from a Blog Recently - However I find Beauty and Fashion Bloggers seem to be the most Anti Comping!! I don't mean to offend anybody by this but it seem the majority are not interested in you unless you are like them and you are all about fashion, make up and tweet your shade of lipstick 3 times a day...

That sort of thing. It's why I find rafflecopters massively unfair - All they have to do is pull your email and put it onto facebook to see what kind of person you are and if your profile picture is not fashiony with good make up they probably over look you as we are not "real people". I read alot of blogs and follow on social media but no I am not massively into lipstick shades or trends. I feel some bloggers think they are inter famous because they honestly blog about some complete poop that I am surprised they think people want to read and these are usually the rudest people towards Compers.

This is not a dig at Bloggers - I know some lovely Bloggers just a few think they are way above the rest of us especially us dirty smelly greedy Compers... Hahahaha!

This really disturbs me, I'm a blogger but I was a comper first and I spend hours doing both of my hobbys. I'd never DREAM of disqualifying compers in fact it makes me smile when I recognise a compers name as my winner. I only ever let the RC decide because what's the point otherwise?

PS - If anyone wants to add my blog to their list of loves compers it can be found on my profile :) No current comps but 2 planned for next month xx

So I have just seen a well known beauty / makeup blogger whose competitions are listed here state that she disqualifies compers on the quiet. So is it worth entering and hope she doesn't notice.

not worth entering unless you're prepared to kiss !!!!
