PCN/CPMS/MILCollections

Hi everybody

As advised I have started a new thread for others to link it back to Acapaldi and MIL Collections, and also for myself due to the last one being a bit long in the tooth while quite a few of the posts are about the BPA/CPMS.

I am at the same stage as Acapaldi, received two letters in one post, a letter from CPMS stating a "debt" has been sold (there is no debt), and a letter from MIL stating they have purchased a "debt", action will be considered after 7 days. I have not received anything about court action yet.

I have replied to MIL by post with the same information Acapaldi has used, questioning CPMS as a company and purchasing an unknown "debt".

If any more information is needed do not hesitate to post.

Many thanks

    You have a PM :)
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

    Hi everyone,

I've received a LBA, can anyone help me by posting a link to a good "response" template that I can base my letter off.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Have you checked PePiPoo? There's been quite a number of MIL/CPMS threads over there, including some excellent posts from regular and highly knowledgeable poster 'Gan'.

Sorry, while we have a number of 'templates' on the forum, we dont have them for any and every eventuality.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Hi Umkomaas

Yes I've had a look but not in detail.

I was reading "Daisy's" post about how the PD works and "acknowledge" and "response", what is required and why, but never saw any links to any basic templates.

I'll have a look over on pepipoo see what they have.

Received similar letters to Acapaldis, one about CPMS notice of assignment and the other MIL just acknowledging this.

Keep on researching and building up your knowledge base. No one has every answer under the sun available to beat everything thrown at you, but, between us we deliver a pretty reasonable 'opposition'.
