Lets hope your broker makes a better job of this application.

have you provided him/her with tax summaries to accompany your SA302s for the self employed element?

Ps I don't get what these tax summaries / overviews show other than what's contained on an sa302? Is it just to show you have paid all tax to date with no penalties ?

If that's a 'no' - then your broker does not have what he/she needs to get the case through Barclays.

    Barclays like two years figures.

last two years SA302's - sent by HMRC or downloaded online by you or your agent (depending on who submits the self assessment returns)

For the latest year they also want the tax summary sent by HMRC or downloaded online or accounts completed by a qualified accountant.

For the previous year they also want the tax summary sent by HMRC or downloaded online.

They are not a Lender who will put a tick in a box unless you give them exactly what they ask for.

  • Nationwide have really been a mixed bag this far. Whilst they were very fast at instructing a valuation, they have asked for my employment contract in 5 different formats and my administrators for my work are fed up with the repeated requests! Rather than asking for a contract with address, national insurance number and signature from me on, they have asked for all of these separately - sometimes taking up to 5 days to ask for the next minute change.

Very unimpressed. I'm a customer with online banking but I wish I had applied with a more organised, efficient company. Here's hoping today will at long last be the final change.. I somehow doubt it.
