This always the problem with selling anything that needs to be repaired on ebay.
The buyers *always* assume that it's actually in perfect condition and that you're an idiot, or that whatever it is can be repaired for £1.
Then when they realise that the broken thing they've bought on the cheap is actually broken, toys start flying out of the pram..."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

That won't deter an ebay buyer from buying something that is no use to them."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Gosh I find myself agreeing with you again..
I posted on here last week that I was expecting a neg as I sold an item clearly marked as damaged. It was in the title, I put it as an item specific, outlining clearly the damage, and put it in the description as well. I even put in the description 'selling cheaply due to the damage mentioned above and as seen in photos'.
Buyer received lot, sent me a stinking email all in capitals claiming I was a shyster and rip off merchant for selling damaged goods as new. Item was listed as used even though technically it was new.
I am usually a bit of a wimp and rarely confront a buyer, but this one had already admitted they were going to leave 'appropriate' feedback for me being a rip off merchant, so I immediately fired back an email with a cut and paste of the title, item description and item specifics showing damage ' I also offered full refund on safe return if they changed their mind and didn't want the goods.
Got back an email saying they were sure it wasn't clear when they bought the item, but they are disabled (?)so perhap smissed it and as they can't get out to return the goods will keep them, and will make sure in future they read all the small print. No feedback as yet.
