Can anyone help please.....
I want to issue a claim, but need an exact figure to fill in the forms... I am useless with maths and havent got a clue (yes I am blonde....lol),I know someone said something about working out how many days.....the interest has been paid, and over the last 5 and a half yrs that is 3334 days.
The amount of ppi is £2021 , can anyone work out a figure for me please?
monthly payments have been £220 (have gone up slightly over the later years).
ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED x0 -
is this the way it works...can anyone tell me if this sounds about right...please .....
8% of £2021.33 = £161.71
£161.71 divide by 365 = 0.4430
3334 days x 0.4430p = £1476.96
So the PPI amount of £2021.33 plus the figure above £1476.96 =£3498.96
So i need to claim £3498.96....
does it sound about right do you think??????? do the calculations seem right?
Any advice would be hugely appreciated....I need to get this claim in ASAP as I am running out of time.
Any one been down the MCOL route lately, any tips appreciated.0 -

Right, the game is afoot! Have been advised by Citifinancial to complain via the FLA, as at the time of the loan, they were not covered by the Ombudsman. Anyone had any dealings with them? And still no sign of any paperwork!!
Hi, i am claiming from citi but am now going through court as they just keep ignoring the actual complaint & sending 'corporate' responses. Good Luck0 -
Hi, Could anyone please advise if you have been through similar.
We took out a secured loan almost 3 year ago with Black Horse, we didn't require PPI but when we received paperwork through the post, PPI had been added to the agreement as an extra £41 per month. We signed the agreement but didn't tick the PPI box or sign for it. 2 days later we received the paperwork back with the signature box for PPI highlighted, after ringing the office we were informed that the PPI was a condition of the loan at that interest rate so as we needed the money we signed.
I am now trying to claim due to mis-selling, i sent my first letter, to which they replied we had signed the agreement, we need to prove mis-selling, 30 days had expired...... usual blurb. Anyway, they enclosed the original agreement which showed our signatures but we had never ticked the box which agreed to purchase PPI and the signature strip states "we agree to purchase the PPi as ticked in the above box ..........."
Would you assume that the PPI policy is void as we didn't tick the box ?
Also, I did cancel the PPI as they suggested in their reply letter but the payments will only reduce by around £20 when i have been paying £41, he waffled on about it being a single premium policy, i am currently waiting for an explanation in writing.
Could anyone please help ????
Hi, i have a claim of mis selling PPI against BH. I have wrote endless letters to them and received endless 'corporate' responses from them. They have now sent their final response of get lost. I have logged this with FOS but have been told it is taking them between 6 and 9 months to look at cases so am filing a case with the court as i am not prepared to wait for the FOS to deal with this. Good Luck with your claim.SUFC0 -

Hi SUFC,
Have you started the process yet?
I am just getting ready to take that step myself, trying to sort out the calculations, as I need to fill the correct amount on the form.(have you seen my previous post today).
Are you going down the MCOL route? Have you issued the claim or just preparing it now? keep in touch and let me knowhow you get on0 -
