Hi Got my reply and just like most of us on here they have offered another £2,009.01 + the £1,054.72 rebate which was taken off the loan ugh.

My Total PPI was £5,480.75 so I don't think £3,063.73 is quite fair or is it?

Should I get back the full PPI + the monthly payments I paid over the 17 months + an extra 8% of course excluding the rebate that got took off the loan or was that one of their little tricks. If that is what I should be getting back then I think I will go to the next step in reclaiming that is the FOS isn't it?
But first I might try ringing them or see if I can get an email to the MD that is if it isn't blocked, to see if they might up the offer.

The say in their standard reply that they are keeping back 22% for the provision of claims and administration costs they sound like another Heather Mills to me.

Can anyone advise? m.colak, tigrrae someone who has had a similar claim.

They say in their letter that it should be reviewed as their final response in relation to this matter and that if I am still dissatisfied I have the option to go to the FOS did anyone try First Plus first to see if they would up the offer or go straight to the FOS

Thanks in advance to all who reply. :easter:
Hi maggie it is a decision you can only make if you are a 100% sure you can claim on the misselling side id carry it through however when i got the final response i had a date to accept and i am not sure if they have to honour that offer once the date has passed maybe m.colak or tigrrae may be able to help i was very lucky emailing the MD i dont think i would have got it otherwise it would still be with the FOS i didnt go for the 8% etc its what ever is acceptable to you if your happy with that offer take the money and run if not fight it out it will be a lengthy wait whatever you opt for you have won they have had to pay out good luck
  • :EasterBunHello all and Happy Easter, just a quick question: .I have been rying to reclaim PPI from Welcome and Swift finance but due to family and work commitments havent been in touch with either company since their last letters denying any responsibility in February. I now have time to look at these again but is it too late to resume my reclaiming actions? I am trying tocatch up with all the advice given on this thread since my last visit and Im square-eyed!!!

Hi folks, have been trying to find a company called Click Finance or something like that as we have mislaid the paperwork somewhere here whilst getting the house sorted out.

Anyway back in 2003 my hubby had taken a loan out with a broker of Click Finance who found him a loan with Endeavour Personal Finance, at least that's what hubby thinks they were called (Click), he remembers having added ppi that he thought was condition of taking the loan and this was an unsecured loan.
This was over 7 years and he paid this off in full a year after taken it and from what he can recall the actual loan was approx £16K and he paid off not far off £22K to clear it, so obviously the ppi was included.

As time is running away with us we need to sort this out for ASAP and if anyone has any information about 'Click' please could you inform us of the contact details, as we have checked googling online and have had no success so they may have possibly changed their name.
Not unless Click are actually an inside company for Endeavour we don't know..... , confusing I think.:o.

I do know there are many companies that were fined, and if anyone could also confirm if Endeavour are actually that of an HFC group of who we know who were fined, even though this is possibly nothing to do with my hubby's claim..... .
We are grateful for any information, thanks folks, much appreciated.;)

I look forward to hearing from you and all the best to others too.;) :D

Hi all, I am just wondering if anyone has tried to claim PPI back from London & Scottish or Morses?

I started off with a loan in 2003 and stupidly every year I get offered a chance to pay it off with another loan so what started off a £500 loan has now gone to over £1500 and I cant envisage ever paying it off. I am paying £80 per month for one I took out in 2006 and it will not be paid up until March next year. It is financially killing me and I cannot find my agreement to see what percentage I am paying. Every time I ring one of the companies to request copies of my agreements back to 2003 they keep fobbing me off from one company to another as a subsidiary company of L&S was formed last year, I am going out of my mind not knowing what to do as I do not even have an agreement number to give them. They also set up the agreement with a spelling mistake of my name.

Please can anyone help - am I right to claim PPI or is it just for banks?
    Thanks:confused:

    Hi all,

WOW......theres soooo many pages in here!!

Has anyone had any luck or in the process with PICTURE?? We took out a loan with them last year and the insurance was a whopping £9,231 !! The thing is, due to circumstances out with our control we asked for a top up which they were only to happy to do.

The only way the said they could do it, was to pay off the LAST LOAN, with this new one.....this was only after the 1st one had ran for 7 months.........but we didnt get ANYTHING BACK !!!!

ANY help with this would be really appreciated...........PLZZZZZZZ, many thx!!

    Hi

just to say have a look at your paperwork.of the settlement figure of the first loan did it show that you had to pay the ppi as well in this amount.

we thought we had been charged 2 lots of ppi when we did a top up with Nemo but because we were still borrowing off the same company they just cancelled it so we didnt have to pay ppi in the settlement in the top up/newloan but did put a new figure of ppi on the new loan but we did pay the PPI when we settled the loan and went to another company.

I would ask them for a breakdown of the first settlement to see what you have paid off to get the top up/new loan and breakdown of the settlement figure of the second loan.

cos I am not sure if you have settled it already or it is still your existing loan and you are just wanting to cancel the ppi and wanting a refund

    hope that helps.

    Laini xx:rotfl:
