Hi there, no big mystery but rather than going for the mis selling angle, the Financial Services Authority have stated no refund or partial refund terms to be unfair under the Unfair Consumer Contract Terms Regulations 1999 and as such you stand to get your money back easier and they are more likely to pay the 8% Statutory Interest as it's clear you've been unlawfully deprived of mony. How much were you rebated (or did you have to pay out) when you settled you loan early and I'll work out the 8% interest for you. Regards

    Hi,
They took off £200 which was the amount left owing on the ppi, the total amount paid including interest was £2300 ppi, for 26 months...
    Many thanks

I am not really sure if this is another fob off or if they are in fact correct or not, They have offered me a partial settlement pending cancel but are the sums quoted final or do admin fees etc come off.

I still want to take this all the way as they ARE due me approx £3200

I've decided and just sent off my complaint to the FOS so here's hoping :o

Just send the letters and see what they say. Be patient.

Demand written correspondence only. Then you have proof of what has taken place!!!
