Hi
I asked him to email. He said they don't send email and he is not trying to con me.
I have phoned cpw 02, and was told my contract is still £35. I have also emailed them through their website.
Thanks
Shafeeq
The problem here will be in proving what was said if it turns out not to be as you expected.
Like I said, companies who wont write things down should be viewed, in my opinion, with a healthy dose of suspicion.0 -

I said i need between 100 - 150 a month rest is no good for me, he put me on hold for further 5 mins and comes back and offers me
£27 month N95 free, 750 mins 600 txt and £90 auto after 5 months.

Please tell us that you've got this in writing before agreeing to it.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
He said the new t&c will be sent. He gived me his name,. ext. number and the city he is working in. Within the Loyalty department. after we agreed then he went through he read through what I agreed to.. i.e 18 months contract N95 Free, 750 mins, 600 txt, £90 cashback auto after 5 months, all this for £27 a month, plus after 16 months I can upgrade handset.
So nothing in writing but this guy seemed ok and he automatically gived me his info, without me asking.. his name, ext. number and so on.

i have now had two calls from this number, both times there was nobody one the end. the wierd thing is that the second time the number rang me, it also rang my sister at the exact same time. we're both on orange and registered at the carphone warehouse.
i don't want to ring back just incase it is one of those you rung us now we're going to charge you £1-00 every minuit you are on the phone to us.
does anybody have any information about this number?0 -
Do NOT give out any details if this number rings you! The number is seemingly being used by scam artists, I have emailed them today to find out if the number is a genuine number, and if so, to get them to stop using it- if not, to get them to report it to the police! If its a real genuine number, and not being used as a mask with fraudsters to hide their 'real phone number', then it would seem the CPWW are now employing african workers to phone you from abroad in order to save money! Surely thats a good enough reason not to agree to anything any of them tell or ask you if they are phoning you directly from this number, lol.
i received a call to my home phone from this number today, and it was all strange bleeps and clicks, no one on the other end. when I googled the number up, it comes up with many people being asked their customer details and bank details from people claiming to work for CPWW (according to some, from the new 'head office in africa!'). Check it out here :-

Its a genuine Carphone Warehouse number normally used by their O2 retention people. They do have South African Call Centres.0
