Looks like they have stopped accepting new registrations it now says
card supply for the pilot programme is limited we will email you shortly what what to expect next.0 -
It says there is a £2 fee for uk ATM withdrawals. However if its linked to my credit card which is 0% purchase.. Can I not just use it as a low cost stoozing method...or are there other fees i havent factored in?0

I have applied but the saving vs Clarity isn't huge right now so for my situation I'd rather stick with the credit card terms.
I would absolutely change if this gets a good rep - well I say change but rather I'd just add it to my overseas wallet - yes I have one and yes I'm proud to admit it haha.0 -
UPDATE: 13 May 2015, 9.40am: Travelex is struggling to cope with demand from traffic due to our weekly email. If the site doesn't respond, try again in a while. We will update you with any more news here as soon as we get it.0

scratch that.. just noticed this:
6.7
"Your Supercard can be used in the UK for point-of-sale transactions or ATM transactions only if You have a UK debit card as Your Registered Card. If your Registered Card is a credit card, Your Supercard will not work in the UK. Using Your Supercard in the UK will attract additional fees (please see the Fees and Charges above at Condition 4 for further details)."0 -
MSE staff tweets are almost boasting that MSE fans have swamped this website.
Meanwhile, someone who registered there two months ago for further info never received an email about the imminent launch.
For prepaid debit cards it's a mystery why MSE staff have never mentioned a certain other one without loading in any currency, but preferred two others which do charge a margin.0 -
I don't know why MSE are still saying try again in awhile as the app is now not accepting new registrations. has anyone registered since 845am ?0

I had assumed that Travelex were preparing a soft launch for the card, gathering contact info and launching gradually. If I were preparing a soft launch, I certainly wouldn't launch it on MSE without ensuring sufficient resources for processing.
Anyway, I persisted and finally got the message that my card is on its way.0 -
