Is it a garage you trust, or worth ringing round for some quotes?
Yes it's the one I use all the time. He's also a friend. He gets a lot of business from us so not in his interests to rip me off
It was just a shock. I knew the handbrake needed looking at but the back brakes need doing too. And something about drums? and calipers? which means nothing to me at all! :rotfl:
Hey ho. I've had my day ruined by worse.....:o0 -
Sorry - you have crossed a line there.
Personal insults are uncalled for. I thought the view was to leave politics on the old thread, and not bring them over here.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it different to your own. That is called a Democracy and Free Speech.

I've recently repainted the garden shed and I've bought a little sign for on the door which is painted and a bit glittery:) but it hasn't been varnished or anything to protect it from the rain.
I've found some internal door varnish but it says water based so I'm assuming this will just wash off eventually.
The sign only cost 50p but I'd like it to last longer than a week any ideas other that actually buying a tin of external varnish please and Thankyou?0 -

your continual boring posts are not going to change this. get a life.
That kind of comment just goes to show that your more interested in yourself than what's going on around you. I bet if the fire stations closed in your local area you'd have something to say.
Typical bloody Tory, don't care unless the cuts are actually hurting them.0 -

Couldn't agree morepeople have been more than tolerant over the past couple of days. Insults and name calling is taking things too far.

Back from Mr A. I've bought items in the 3 for £4.
As usual, you'd never know they were on mbuy offer from the SELs in my store! Or, at least, you wouldn't know you could mix and match the Body Massager into the 'deal' in my store as they just have the £1.59 price showing on that. Even if you don't need the Body Massager, in effect on A's actual prices, when bought as the third item, it pays £2.38 to take it from the shelf - sadly that amount is deducted from the hugely expensive £3.19 price on two Sanexes. I had someone yesterday, on a womble, buy just two Sanaxes at £3.19 each and not bother with any other item:rotfl: but, then again, when the Body Massager is in the offer, how would they know?
I notice my Sanex Bath Foam is a completely different type of bottle to the previous ones, after checking again that I have bought the Bath version and not the Shower Cream - it would have been a huge:o again if I had bought the wrong items. The previous bottle I had is 650ml. I notice the bottle now is marked "New!" - the product appears to be decribed the same as the previous one - Dermo Sensitive Bath Foam Normal to Dry Skin with some 'magic' Dermo 3 that probably serves merely to get people to buy it when any bog-standard bath wash would work exactly the same way ( - how can I say that?) - but I notice that the ingredients are now slightly different, so that no-one can say the Sanex bath foam is the same as it was before. Nonetheless, I note that the 650ml product does not now appear to be available anywhere at all, whilst this "New!"(:() product seems to be the only one available - I note it is 500ml and therefore we have to get 500ml rather than 650ml.
Unless I'm seriously mixing up and getting confused between different products again, which I probably am!:rotfl:
Meanwhile, the £5 trigger to them checking the voucher on their systems instore, if that is now the policy, does not appear to have worked its way down to my SA today. My voucher, of over £5, was accepted straight off (I'm not complaining) but the next one is now below £5 anyway.0 -
