This is even more tragic because.....

apparently they are giving out leaflets that contain unique codes to view movies like Imitation Game, Maze Runner, Paddington, etc

A very kind soul on HUKD is giving away codes by PM. They obviously picked up a massive stack :T :T  :money:

    Left or right savvy ;)

Oh don't worry about me, I'm all right. I was just going to say though (and now am saying) that elliemoo was absolutely right (unfortunately) - Churchill had it (depression) and called it his "black dog". As I keep reminding the other person in this house that sometimes even people that get to positions of greatness have struggles underneath. We don't always see other people's struggles and think that they are doing just fine when they are not, and some of us see our own struggles and tend to think that other people are not struggling when this is not the case. Although it may seem like it at times, you are not alone. There are people, here, that care. All of us have struggles at times and share problems that you have. It's not all down - the best way is to try to stay positive, it will get better, and try to get back to things that you used to enjoy (that maybe you had forgotten about) and to take things away from the depression and into something positive.

Take it easy on yourselves folks and take care.

14 years :( I've did about half of that and I'm drained.

it is a mindset that is impossible to change at times :( and I so pity those that have it......as well as pitying the families that have to live with it.

it's taken me a long time to realise you can't change how someone feels. Whatever is in their head that torments them so much is worse than being here. It's not something I will ever understand nor something I want to. The thought of something being so bad I'd leave my kids behind is incomprehensible to me......but some people are so tortured, they will :(

I believe anything can be fixed :o there's no such thing as no hope........just things bad enough to dent it a lot

    Stay strong Hillbern :A

My sentiments FC- I stay strong and positive, but so do you , I sometimes don't know how you cope ,but we all do somehow, at work all the patients I see think im bubbly and always have a cheerful smile- I do, - but when I get home, I still try to smile and laugh but my pretence goes- but my new baby DGS alleviates a lot of the pressure even though they live over 100 miles away, I love the hugs and cuddles they are priceless.

    Im a typical Gemini

Oh how sad for the family. And sad for people on here too.:(

    There's nothing I can say...

I feel... normal:o, except that I start reading people's posts and feeling a bit sad (not that I should not feel that way). I'm sure I've had PMs from her in the past and I "ought" to feel feel worse, except that I think it will hit me later and different people deal with things differently. It does bring to light the issue of depression - me and someone else struggles with that in our home - there are times I get concerned about the other person when they just go out - though, touch wood, they always come back. I felt they were a bit down and might, in a minute of madness, 'do something stupid' - I can't always catch them before they go out:( but fortunately I have not had any problems to date - I bet if anything were to happen, they'd have gone out smiling and seemingly happy and then never return:(:(, I sincerely hope not although problem is you just never can tell and depression can occur suddenly at times. I think best people can do, unfortunately:(, is just try and look out for people but it's difficult as there's no way to prevent everything - for myself, I've been there and know what it's like, from my own perspective, I think, sadly, once you are there (once you have had the depression), it's always there, underlying underneath things, and if you have a moment where you feel a bit down, you feel really down - fortunately many of us can then get to a stage where the amount of time between each period of down increases but then you can have moments where it just comes back - it's difficult and all that can be done is lots of love to the people struggling with it. Hard to believe that people can be seemingly so happy and then just feel really down, and worse, but it does sometimes go from one extreme to the other - in fact, and I'm out of my depth and know nothing about this:o:o, but some things are marked by extremes in mood.

I'm sorry if I've said something that people don't want to hear. It's just a tragic situation:(.

oh bless you :A you have no need to deal with things any other than you normally do ;)

We had a loss and you noticed :A that's a testament to how hard you try :A

feeling normal is good for you and we will all always accept you will :) Please don't feel the need to join in on the grief and mournings. We know you don't roll like that ;) :A
