Please say you didn't buy it COT :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sitting here waiting for my malware scanner to finish after watching that programme on cybercrime this evening!

I know what FC means, the tears of a clown :(

I watched that too and mentioned to DW that that little gizmo we have to block unwanted calls cpr call blocker would be worth investing in for parents when they become dodgy at least then they can block calls with a button press.
I know there is more to the scams than that but every little helps

People who are in this frame of mind are very good at putting a front on to everyone else :( they fool everyone, even those closest to them.

This is so true, I know from personal experience. My own Mum was totally shocked when I was admitted to hospital

I'm not quite sure how you do it, but I muddled through and just lit a candle and named it PMel and added group MSE to it.

Hope you don't mind me adding a link to the Group candles http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=MSE

Don't beat yourself up, I know how you feel as many others on here feel the same, it is so tragic- she may well have had people in RL with whom she could turn to, but sometimes that's not enough. Mental health issues are hard to comprehend, because you 'look alright' people don't always realise that there is an underlying problem.
Im not going to dwell, but 14 years ago my DD tried to take her own life and was in itu on life support, she survived with no physical damage but the ongoing years of support we have given is unbelievable, she still has these tendencies, even with all the support from us and friends. Believe it or not she has an appointment with a counsellor tomorrow and she just text me and said ' mum I don't think I can go tomorrow as they make me feel so sad' its heartbreaking and im in tears it has taken 14 years to even get her an appointment, So for poor Melody even if RL and virtual support was there as hard as it is it was her decision and she probably felt there was no where to turn. her turmoil is over. It is just so sad and I feel deeply for this young ladys' family even though I don't know them. x

Sending you some big hugs HILLBERN. Your dd is lucky to have you to care for her. Hope your ok my lovely xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

so sorry to hear the sad news about Princess Melody. I sent her some coupons for John Frieda from the Tesco Mag a couple of years ago and remember joking should I address them to Princess Melody and how nice it was to help royalty because she PM'd me her address, but not her surname.

Actually this has left me cold because my intelligent, beautiful DN aged 14 is in hospital at the moment because she can't cope and I fear she has taken after me.
She doesn't want her Auntie or Grandma to visit her in hospital, but I so want to see her and tell her how much she is loved.

I would go and be prepared to leave if she wanted after I had said what was needed :o

14 years :( I've did about half of that and I'm drained.

it is a mindset that is impossible to change at times :( and I so pity those that have it......as well as pitying the families that have to live with it.

it's taken me a long time to realise you can't change how someone feels. Whatever is in their head that torments them so much is worse than being here. It's not something I will ever understand nor something I want to. The thought of something being so bad I'd leave my kids behind is incomprehensible to me......but some people are so tortured, they will :(

I believe anything can be fixed :o there's no such thing as no hope........just things bad enough to dent it a lot

    Stay strong Hillbern :A
