thanks for the list natty and thank you bossy for last week's.

I'm in this week although not sure how much I will get done in the first half of the week. Today I have to walk the dog, paid stuff, take ds1 to the orthodontist, paid stuff x2 and take ds2 to cricket. The cricket was an at home natch but was changed to away yesterday. DH is working so can't take him so I will have to. Is it wrong for me to hope it is rained off.

pigpen hope you get sorted at the GPs - good luck. ds1 has always had social problems but this has now become depression. the gp referred him to CAHMS who then referred him to Talking Changes. He is 16 and I really wish I had done something earlier as I now have no control over what happens or when he refuses to call them back.

ds1 has started his GCSEs today. he actually went to school better than I thought he would as we have had a few meltdowns in the mornings recently. Let's hope it continues.

bossy is it a national place that takes the bikes as we have a couple of ds2's old bikes

jazee lovely pic of your dog

I have a couple of phone calls to make then I am going to half an hour in the kitchen before I walk the dog
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
    £60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j

YL.. DS3 has been waiting 6 months for a psych referral already and no idea when or if he will even get an appointment. I might ring and growl today actually they promised he would be seen within 3 months.

On the occasions I have written notes of what to mention I forgot to take the list lol.. I need to write on myself!

Oh and I found a home for DH bike :T there is a charity that restores them and donates them to under-privileged people and also teaches them the maintenance skills. They are collecting tomorrow/ today (!)

Oh please could you send me details; we've got 2 bikes to declutter and it would be great to go to someone who really needs them.

Thanks for you good wishes. I've had a reply to my plaintive email, saying he confirmed I have submitted a tender and can use the referee I stated in the email (that page disappeared in the ether before I could fill it in.). He says that he can't comment on the documents I submitted as the deadline is 12 noon and that is when they open them; sounds like a raffle draw!

My priority this morning is making sure all windows are accessible to the man who is coming to measure up for new ones this evening. Lucky I did the study yesterday as it won't take long at all.

Good luck to all who have students taking exams now, pray for a low pollen count. Even when I was at school they were talking about this time of year being unfair for hay fever sufferers to be taking exams.

DH has mown the lawn and emptied 3 of the kitchen bins, and has now gone to@1d! to get the yogurt I forgot yesterday :A

I have done some work and reached a natural stopping point for lunch - my brain needs feeding! I have emptied the other bin (the smelly compost one), walked round our pocket-handkerchief garden to admire the flowers, and opened the post.

I simply cannot keep up with Fred at the moment and now multiquote has let me down *curses* so I'm going to forget to say something important. Soz.

Healing vibes for Dancepops, and lovely photograph Jazee. I'd thought of bowls and was going to post that but didn't get round to it; it's the first thing that occurred, walking past Plymouth Hoe Bowling Green on every dog walk. Techno-coping vibes for Narco. Fabulous bike-rehoming, Bossy.

Natty, my dear, coping and healing vibes for you, as well as big hugs and thanks for the lists. I don't know anyone who hasn't, at some stage, felt over-whelmed by 'it all' at some point in their lives. It does get better, although at the time it can feel it never will. The most important thing to remember is that it will be the people who care about you who will get you through, so don't shut yourself away emotionally from those of us who value you. Post, post and post and we will all have the opportunity to show you we are rooting for you, even if it's only by clicking the Thanks button.

NewDog is settling in beautifully and showering everyone with his happy vibes. He's also dragging me right round the Hoe several times a day (hence the bowling reminder) with gusto thus shifting some wobbly bits.

WM x 3 yesterday, just about to put another load on, half the kitchen floor has been washed, and tidying has occurred. Vacuuuming can wait, because every corner of the Hoe has been minced and NewDog and I are dragging all the snippings back every time we set foot and paws outside. OH met a friend's dy$on stick-type thing and wants one to play with and has already worked out exactly where it will live. I am (secretly) very pleased, pleased enough to actually consider buying one brand new, something I have never, ever done since I bought my first vaccuum cleaner at an auction rooms when I bought my first house 30 years ago. Any particular recommendations, anyone?
    Better is good enough.
