Oh.. I forgot.. Dot is at the quack at 4pm trying to get a referral for an assessment of her behaviour before one or all of us have a breakdown. She bit OH yesterday for no discernable reason and has spent 25 minutes licking the windows today.. I figured she wasn't harming anyone and left her to it.. at least she wasn't destroying anything, right?!
I'm not really sure what to say.. 'my daughter is crazy, she is driving everyone to distraction, we don't sleep, she has her own time out chair at nursery and she destroys everything she touches.. and she does crazy repetitive things.. lining stuff up, sorting to colours, counting.. to 20 over and over and over'.. he will have me locked up for being mad as a hatter!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks for the lists natty xx hugs xx
pigpen that's good you have an appointment! Maybe start off with "concerns about her behavioural development " and finish with the fact that you've seen enough of toddlerhood to know something isn't right. And give the examples in between. Hopefully the doc you see will have experience in these things and not brush it off xx
I'm in this week - eventually- around paid stuff.
Oh and I found a home for DH bike :T there is a charity that restores them and donates them to under-privileged people and also teaches them the maintenance skills. They are collecting tomorrow/ today (!)Bossymoo

Up early but waiting for a decent time to get out in the garden and cut the grass before the paid stuff. Also need to put the recycling out for collection. I am beginning to regret my lazy day yesterday now.

Take it easy, JTTOU. Sciatica pain is so draining, and you need to rest.Oh.. I forgot.. I slept right through for 8 hours last night which is such a pleasant change but has given me a late start today, so I'm already starting a horrendous week on the back foot .... I must concentrate properly, my mind has all gone to pot, and I'd far rather be out gardening than sitting at my desk, but here I am and here I must stay until the job is done0 -

I would spend half an hour jotting down some of the things you want to tell the GP before you go. If you are anything like me you will come out and think damn I never told him such and such.
My DS has done extensive cognitive testing and we have been told it is highly likely that he is on the autistic spectrum BUT the psychologist isnt allowed to diagnose this, he has to be referred to a neurological unit. Waiting times are currently a year. So in the meantime we are just left in limbo, unable to get any help or support. Which is really bad. Hope it goes OK for you.
Thinking of Natty and Dancemum and anyone else who is coping with difficult stuff at the moment.
Back to work today after a week off sick, quite nervous which is silly. Tired too, need to take it steady today but the kitchen is filthy and the fridge needs a big sort out!
Have a good Monday everyone x0 -
I have well and truly fallen off the wagon with this -house is a dirty tip! I have 4 kids and a DH. We both work full time and have 3 cats and a dog! A busy household full of untidy people! But I'm in this week. Any encouragement gratefully received. :jLiving the dream, one moment at a time. It's not always easy but there are sparkles of joy around every corner.

Morning Rach Pach, morning again all.
Almost time for the paid stuff, but I've done more in 3 hours this morning than I achieved all day yesterday:
Washed breakfast dishes
Dusted really dusty bits in LR
Quick hoover downstairs
Walked dogs
Put recycling out
Emptied and cleaned kitchen bin
Watered the plants in the greenhouse
Cut grass out back
2nd washload in machine, first is on the line,
Right, enjoy your days whatever you are doing flyladies. Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0
