    Hey everyone

Big hello SortingItOut  I hope you like it here. It's actually the only place on the MSE forum that I come to. I like it because it's a really positive place to be and we are a friendly bunch :D

I've spent today clearing out!! Not done anything else! Took a bag to the clothes bin at Mr Ts and splashed out on a pizza and can of ginger beer - That's my evening sorted! Oh the small things :p

Also got another couple of small things going on:

    * Crocheting myself some dish cloths
    * Sending something back that I ordered online - £31 coming back to me :T (I decided today that it didn't bring me joy - Kondo would be proud :p)

    Hi all,
Been busy with the election, followed by really depressed by the election, so today's the first day I've been back in my routines.
Anyway, I've done a few money saving bits today, nothing outstanding:
*Wrote meal plan & shopping list over breakfast & got it in at just about on budget.
*Returned a bag of crisps from a multipack which contained only air, no crisps! Was given new multi-pack, so 5 bags of crisps up on the deal.
    *Found 5p roadkill.
*Free coffees & Guardian in Waitrose, & mr f bought me a Chelsea bun for winning my council seat in the election :-)
*Perused reduced items section - lots of stuff which was either unnecessary or still more than I could make it for myself, but did find 2 large packs of chicken drumsticks for £1-85 each, which are now in our freezer, divided into 4 meal-sized packs to make sure mr f can't suddenly find he's defrosted 12 'by mistake' & had better eat them in case they go off. Though to be fair, he's very good these days.
*Didn't go into town, but just did grocery shopping. Not much of May's 'personal spends' left & a lot of May, so saved my cash.
*A relaxing day - have been reading, catching up on what you've all been up to, enjoying all the flowers in my garden, fussing cat & writing my blog. Now going to watch 'Gogglebox', another episode of 'Early doors' (I got the dvds for my birthday) & have an early night.
Planning to do lots of garden jobs tomorrow & will also be writing a challenging list of jobs I need to do over next week.......when I will also be going back to money saving with a vengeance.
    See you then,
    f x

Ally - Such great news about that debt having finally gone. I remember how great that final payment felt. A huge well done! Also, hope you have a lovely day on Monday when you convert your partnership to marriage. It is so absolutely right that people are able to do that, so glad you made the decision.New outfit not essential at all, unless you want to buy one.

Thank-you FVD. My friends have all been texting me that I'll be the voice of reason & sanity. I started the process by attending the Vote Count in black & purple fishnets & my DMs, as I don't 'do' suits......but I did wear a nice dress with them x
