eBay and PayPal are to split and as of July 1st 2015 there are new Amendments to the PayPal User Agreement.
IS IT WISE TO ACCEPT THEM?
Is PayPal trying to pull a fast one?
Has Martin looked into what could possibly be the biggest upset for PayPal customers, EVER!

What's the biggest upset?kheemonahs wrote: »Has Martin looked into what could possibly be the biggest upset for PayPal customers, EVER!
Ebay and Paypal have drawn up a contract that at least 80% of future trade on Ebay is conducted through Paypal.
If you don't want to use Paypal any more, don't accept the agreement and close your account.
Was it the bit about them owning your second kidney that was worrying you?.0 -
A little more explanation here.

If anything, if you sell on Ebay, the amendments offer a little more security in that Ebay will no longer be able to dip into your account to give refunds. They will still be able to hold payments on disputed transactions..0 -

A most unfortunate flip remark, I am afraid that I do not have a second kidney for them to own as I donated it to my wife in February. What's the biggest upset?

What I am concerned about is that eBay will not make an alternative to PayPal option available.0 -
My apologies, if I'd known you'd answered I'd have dropped everything I was doing.kheemonahs wrote: »It's all gone quiet!
I'm not sure why that is a concern, as I said in the first post, Ebay and Paypal are tied together for the foreseeable future. They have drawn up an agreement that Ebay takes 80% minimum of payments via Paypal. If it drops under 80% Ebay pay a penalty, if it goes over 80% they get bonuses. The penalties and bonuses are in millions.kheemonahs wrote: »

Buyers and sellers won't notice the difference.
BTW I'm very pleased you were a compatible kidney donor for your wife, that's quite rare amongst couples to be a match. I'm sure you could get Paypal to modify that part of the agreement for you, tell them you're from Gallifrey and switch kidney to heart..0 -
That article is remarkably irrelevant to anything else you've posted.kheemonahs wrote: »
