Oh that's a relief JTTOU and well done with the neighbour, LW

We were out by 7.30 and only just back - athough kiddies are at school disco so I'm about to go round and "supervise" ;)
Managed to pop to @ldi en route as I forgot to order grapefruit with my shopping and I missed it this morning, yes, me, fruit :rotfl: I've really got a taste for it recently.

Need to feed them and get them ready for bed after so I'm guessing this evening will be as jam-packed as every other seems to be! I'll have a pop at the living room once they are in bed...

    Evening all

JTTOU brillaint news re DS's job, my neighour works there and heard he was ok a few weeks ago.

So very very windy here. Went to school cricket and it certainly blew the cobwebs away. Glad I'd left soup cooking in the AGA for DS3.

Meal plan and food shop all done.

Not much else other than washing up and tired out now so don't plan on anything else today.

Not had the best of days as got rained on. and Not had a good afternoon, house is an absolute tip, toddlers have been having major meltdowns due to tiredness, and Roo has managed to bang his head by walking into a huge beam post, that is in our kitchen and to my knowledge doesn't walk around the kitchen to put itself in your way, so how he managed to walk into it is beyond me. May threw a bubble mix pot at his chin and started WW3 whilst i dared spend 1 minute bringing the washing in!!!!! v V trying day and the house looks like a bomb has hit it.

haven't done much from my list at all, have done 2 loads of washing and put the dw on, made my bed and kept my room clean and crumb free. I have made biscuits which are nice, but I have scoffed 2! dreading work tomorrow as VAT to do, which will be very stressful. Can't seem to put a positive spin on things today.

Think there are a few of us feeling like this. Tomorrow is another day and hopefully your little ones were tucked up in bed nice and early and you have had some peace. I am actually feeling a little better. My boss rang me earlier and was so nice. No pressure to go back but I think I will be OK for Thursday.

DS has a hospital appointment Friday so I will need to take him to that anyway.

Thanks Yorkshirelass, I'm feeling mildly better after copious amounts of tea and a rather quiet toddler bed time, shows how tired they were!

    Eck, I feel tired!

DS loved the disco and came home very hot and sweaty from apparently "street dancing"! DD was unimpressed as because they went straight from after school club, they were in uniform and she had no party dress. So she sat in a corner and missed it all.
They came home and put party clothes on, danced for 5min, ate their tea then put pjs on. Lol.

I've put the green bin out but bit concerned it might blow over  seems it's quite wild in most of the UK tonight. Also whizzed round the LR but still not replaced my blown bulbs - will do tomorrow (WFH), and tidied the garage room so I don't have to climb to my desk in the morning.

DS gave me the biggest hug at bedtime, he's a happy chappie :A, very lovey lately. DD barely spoke to me, I'm in disgrace about not packing her a dress, lol. She's been told she'll be wearing trousers tomorrow too if she sneaks in my bed again tonight <naughty mummy>

Anyway, list is updated for tomorrow. Hope it's working ok for those of you that use it, do give me a nudge if I'm not hitting the mark!

    Night all
