Hiya did nothing much yesterday except split up 3 fighting children. Today I'm on placement so I've washed up, filled and emptied the washer and when I get back will put it on airers. X

  • Afternoon all.

First of all a huge THANK YOU to all of you for your posi-vibes over the last four horrible months. Confirmed today DS's job is OK!!!! Out celebrating tonight. Thoughts with those that will not be OK and will hear today/tomorrow - as there are to be some losses. x

Just back from SW and banking - minor weight gain but still within target. Going to read some more of the Kondo thread and get on with that and a double HHI later today. Have Kondo'd carrier bags and my undies - and now see clearly that I need some more that fit properly- undies that is - carrier bags wouldn't be comfy!!!

Have a great day everyone and welcome more newbies.

ionafan , I agree I have been on full pelt, thank you for your kind thoughts xx

I've also put on weight, I am sure it is comfort eating, as at work I spend 8 hours on my feet, dealing with 'things', there are no chairs to sit on except in the break room, I don't have time to sit and watch telly, or spend hours on internet, and I don't 'game' either, so it must be too much food...........................

True to myself, I did daily stuff, then went to job 2, and now am having me time this afternoon.............

And not too sure what to do first, so I am going to the greenhouse to talk / pot on my seedlings.

All those with kids waking up at 5am or so, are their rooms to light? could black out blinds or similar help?

    Hoovered down stairs
    Got bins back in.
Job 2 sorted all old paperwork 7years or older as it can now go, there is loads of it, just trying to find a cheap 'shred it' lorry to come and deal with it all, it would take me ages to shred it, and owing to its nature it must be shreded.

Lynne don't worry, I shan't be starting the walls this week - it's definitely not a good idea with two mega-nosey Spaniels in residence and no-one else here to keep them occupied.:o Yesterday I remained with them in the lounge while Mr LW painted the kitchen ceiling.

JTTOU great news about your DS's job. Much relief, I'm guessing.:o
Re undies and carrier bags - with me, the former are getting so tatty I may have to resort to the latter soon!!:rotfl:

Got drenched taking the Spaniels out this morning; and the field is flooded yet again, so we had to turn round and use the other route - I don't think the boys were impressed! Luckily they're good about being towel-dried.:D

Probably shouldn't be posting because I am feeling ill and grumpy. I was in bed dozing but OH let the dog upstairs and he decided to lie on my leg chewing his paws. I thought there was an earthquake.

OH is at home "doing some paperwork" because it's too wet to go to the job he had booked in. He has been sitting watching daytime tv all morning. Should send him round to look after pigpens kids. The kitchen is a bombsite and nothing else has been done so far. I have told him he has to make tea.

See I told you i was grumpy. Hope everyone else is a better day!

I did manage one thing off today's Official List - said hello to a neighbour.:D Well, sort of neighbour - he lives in the next close to ours, and was out with his dog Tasha when I took the Noise Boyz for their walk at lunchtime.:o

Yep - that's their official nickname now; they chitter at me at considerable volume whenever I look like putting my coat on for walkies.:rotfl:

Jtttou, fantastic news for you, must be a weight off your mind.

I've not done much today, just feel exhausted, after running around yesterday, I've done one load of washing and been shopping and put it away and made lunch. Can't wait for bed time!
