then I am playing in my first match today.

Bit worried that I won't be able to keep my sports kit whiter than white going forward.

Ooh good luck! Is that tennis then - or maybe ladies cricket? Or some other sport involving white clothing that I cant think of. Let us know how it goes. I have given up with DSs cricket whites. There is no way of getting them spotless - I think most other parents feel the same.

We love a toasted sandwich here but the bloomin thing is a nightmare to clean. OH has discovered a solution to this problem. Leave said sandwich toaster on the worktop covered in melted cheese (now dried on) until your wife gives in and cleans it. Sigh.

Back to the airing cupboard - why do I have so many towels??

    Howdy all

Fairly peaceful here, we're all tired still. Popped to beaver leaders this morning so DBS done and kiddies played while we drank tea :)

Since then we came home and put our pjs back on. DS is playing on the kindle, DD watching Barbie films and I've listed what's in the freezer. Just about to meal plan around it. Tea tonight is sorted anyway - fish chargrill for me, scampi for DSL and chunky fish fingers for DD. With a selection of potato wedges, bread and veg. I fancy mushy peas :)

Fridge is almost empty so I'll give that a wipe out, and I've some washing to hang up. Hoping for a drier day tomorrow so they can get outside a bit more.

Oh, my new blinds arrived yesterday :T they are lovely. So I can now start looking into my paint colours and go carpet shopping. I'll also plan out what I need to do - the more I can prep before the weekend in question, the better. There are stickarounds to remove, furniture to rehome, old carpet to take up etc...

Think we'll all have an early night tonight! Yawn!

Hi all. Have decluttered about 8 carrier bags to the charity shop/recycling full of bedding and towels. I had 18 bath towels in my airing cupboard!!! We all have our own towels - 2 each - so I have kept another 4 for guests and the rest have gone. Same with duvet covers, one on the bed and one spare and that's it.

I had a few spare storage boxes so everything is rolled and sorted into boxes. Looks lovely and I am very happy!

Jazee- good Luck with the match. I was also pondering which sport it might be!!!

Given up on Fridays list. I have done bits but can't honestly delete anything off it! The ironing basket is empty though! :T until tomorrow that is!

Have decluttered some of the nursery furniture tonight and my purse is a little fuller!!:T they also took the mattress and all the bedding so lots of stuff gone from the garage and loft. There is an end in sight to the loft sorting!
Boxed up some more of the kids toys! Have to do it quick before the kids see and start dragging them out again. It is very therapeutic sorting toys out and putting them back in their original boxes. I am sad and keep lots of the original toy boxes! But now the Duplo and mega blocks sets have all been seperated into their original boxes!

Pottered all day as we haven't gone out all day. Also played board games and watched a film!

Jazee hope the match went well

YL well done on your towels

I have spent most of the day kondoing paperwork, so much more to do, I'm aiming for the end of May but that may be optimistic. Still some is done and I've caught up with some emails I needed to send too.

Tomorrow is a cricket teas day, aim is to get up early and get organised.

    Evening all,
narcolepsy hope your MIL is ok.

Thanks. Mr N spoke to her yesterday and she is a whole lot better. We've been visiting friends in Suffolk overnight, came home this eve so I expect one or both of us will check up on her tomorrow. At least she's only 10 minutes drive away.
