    Hi all

Trip to hospital with DS1 then took him to get his hair cut. On impluse we went into a barbers near the hospital that turned out to be half the price of our usual place and they did a nice job. Will be going there again.

Then a little nap when I came home before throwing scampi and chips in the fryer for tea. I am going to have to tackle the kitchen and utility floors over the weekend.

LW maybe you should have left the dogs noses and seen what the owner said! My little dog has been glued to my side this week while I have been poorly. We have our moments but he has been a real comfort.

Cold and rainy. Going to get the kitchen looking tidy then sit down I think.

Aww frizzle rain started here right at school run time too - ugh

Partly hoping beaver leader doesn't text me her address so we don't have to go, lol. But we sort of need to do the paperwork.

Dinner made and troughed, DW set going and table and counter tops wiped down. That might be all tonight, unless I sort my meal plan and book my shopping...

Rain is set to continue here until tomorrow afternoon, and we've no plans so staying indoors and playing. Might do some baking and I'll tackle my photos as per the list :)

  • Evening all,

Oh well, five more years with mr shiny face.
Apart from that I was having a good day, work ok, after I got kids from school I did some kitchen cleaning from the list, kitchen looked better than usual. Then I made a meal for us all that on paper sounded lovely but was not nice :( No one liked it. Not even me. In addition to that the children had managed to somehow trash the kitchen while my back was turned at the cooker. Then dd2 dropped grated cheese on the floor and I lost the plot.
So I took dog for a walk in the torrential rain for an hour and a half and now oddly feel a bit better.

Anyway, hope your are all having a good evening, narcolepsy hope your MIL is ok.

So here's the mega list, going to make it smaller over the weekend!

Thoughtful Thursday - Bathrooms and Study / PC area
    Clean the bath / shower
Spend 15min decluttering your desk - does your PC need any attention?
Delete some unwanted emails, unsubscribing as you go where needed
Any old bath mats, bath toys gone a bit mildewy? Is it time to fling?
Do you need to back up any photos?
Smart phones and tablets - can you "declutter" these too to help with storage / memory?
Any paperwork to file - do it!

Fantastic Friday - Bedrooms (as many as you choose, or delegate to the occupant!)

And I bought a new tablecloth which looks lovely! I keep smiling at my kitchen table every time I walk past it. A@da do these great tablecloths that wipe clean but almost look like fabric. The last one we had was mainly white though so didnt last long before it started to look a bit grubby. We need a new kitchen table eventually.

I am Kondoing my airing cupboard this morning. There's a statement for you.

Think DS2 has plans to be out for most of the day and probably overnight and I can call at the charity shop on my way to drop him off. Need to keep this decluttering going. We have a basket on the top shelf in the utility room and I dont even know whats in it!

Morning all. Really didn't want to get out of bed today, it was so cosy. Have had a bit of a week here with horrid paid stuff and unexpected car repairs (£400 decluttered in the blink of an eye) so I think that maybe staying in bed would avoid another horrible day.

However, since rising, I have fed me and the dogs, washed the breakfast dishes, sorted the fridge and done a menu plan for the week. I'm now dressed so the plan for the rest of the day is to walk the dogs combining with a trip to the farm shop, indoor pottering as it is very windy out today, and then I am playing in my first match today.

Bit worried that I won't be able to keep my sports kit whiter than white going forward. I usually avoid white clothes because of the dogs.

Anyway, the shopping won't do itself, so I'll catch you all later. Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
