Have not noticed a halal notice on the meats but to be honest not been looking.
I can tell you most of their chicken based products are sourced from Thailand. If they are halal, not sure. The more I live, the more I learn.

I caught the manager of Iceland in Aldi a couple of weeks ago making a note of their fresh veg prices so he could compete. We got to chatting and I was telling him I was a new convert lol. I complained because I had bought a fry light from there the week before for £2 then went into Home Bargains and it was £1.49. He said he would raise it with head office and match the price. Very nice chap.
I like their frozen chicken pieces, slimming world meals, Indian curries, Aunt Bessies frozen chips, Greggs, duck in orange sauce, fresh stewing beef pieces and bacon.

Is it possible to do a full shop in Iceland?
I have just looked at mysupermarket.co.uk though Aldi is still cheaper for me.
I would be paying for the convenience.0 -

I have seen people do this but your choice would be severely limited on things like fresh fruit and vegetables and it would depend how much cooking from scratch you do as I imagine that would be difficult. Those who fill trolleys full appear to fill them with prepared foods and not much in the way of fresh items.0 -
The only thing that I buy is frozen
Chicken breast
veggies
As they are about the cheapest and easiest to get for me.
And when I want a treat ice creams.
Can't get frozen fruit as my local does not do it!!!!!
Don't think that makes the usual iceland shopper.

I love iceland. There's one near my work and I've recently been converted. Between iceland and aldi I save a fortune compared to my old shop at tesco. I regularly buy bags of frozen peas, sweetcorn, onions, peppers and corn on the cob. Frozen salmon, Kings prawns and the cheap white fish for fish pies. The kid pack up stuff, dairylea and yogurts are also well priced. Our one has a very good selection of fruit and veg as well. Not quite as cheap as aldi but I can't get to aldi as conveniently. The frozen raspberries in the resealable bag are really good too.
For a treat, the kids love the cheese stuffed crust cheese and tomato pizza. Bargain for £1.50.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -
Disappointing trip to Iceland today. They didn't have the hake that Edwardia mentioned.
Looked at the chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce which I hoped would make a quick supper for DH. I couldn't see they were much different from a few chicken nuggets so left them there.:(0 -

So they do stock frozen fruit.
Sadly not in my local as I asked the other week and they said no!!!:(

Perhaps you should contact head office.
They may be able to override the local store and get them in stock. The more I live, the more I learn.
