  • Ok I have a question. A few days ago I made a claim for my next meal free (To the equivalent of what I paid) via Hungryhouse Express; my meal arrived after 45 mins :rotfl:

My claim was approved and I spent it earlier this evening, does that count? I know people include their coupons but I wasn't sure if that's the same thing?

AND, having my coins on the side from last week when I was checking their value online, my sister earlier informed me that I could spend my Jersey 5p so that's my starting point for this month :rotfl:

    Off to update sig :D

If you would have bought the meal any way then I would count it. If you just had a meal because it was free I wouldn't IYSWIM

  • May starting off really good so far.

Had a bit of a silly moment earlier though. Love Top Cash Back and I deposited £21.00 into a gambling account and essentially gambled it. I know this isn't very MSE, but the only reason I did this was to get the £27.50 cash back it was offering for opening an account and wagering over £20.00. Hopefully it comes through ok and I don't essentially loose out on my money. If it works out and I get the cashback, I'll make £6.50 profit.

I also did a few home and car insurance quote too. They have tracked already and are showing in the 'pending' queue.

Confused car insurance quote - £2.53
Go compare home insurance quote - £2.20
    Quote Searcher - £2.20

Hopefully bringing me a grand total of £6.93 when they get approved. Very skeptical about the gambling transaction paying out though :o

All in all, a decent start so far. Still officially on £0 but hopefully this will go up soon.

Morning all, drove down to my local charity hop today and picked up £31 worth of 99p clothes. I already have 8 of the items up for a job lot for £20 on Facebook and have a pending sale of £4 on Facebook so hopefully they'll pull through!

It;s great to see lots of new comers joining in :D

I'm also popping round my parents later as they need some jobs doing around the house which they're going to pay me for at a cheaper rate than they would pay your everyday handy man!!

My parents also have bin bags full of old clothes which they're giving to me to take down the cash for clothes place in town, 50P a Kilo, not much but it all adds up!

I'm off now to make a paper mache piggy bank for this months extra earnings :D

Speak to you all later ):)
