I sold an item on EBay last night but they have paid today. I now don't know if that is April or May? Either way it's extra pennies :T but I don't know whether to add to total or not?
    May 2015 £10 a day currently £208

Lovely to see some people have made some money already this month:beer:. Glad to say that so have I:j, which is a miracle as it's usually into the second week of a challenge before anything starts trickling in for me.

Redeemed some survey money/vouchers last month but couldn't add to total until I actually received it. Today it all arrived at once

So, just been to Morrisons and used: the £20 vouchers from MyVoice, £5 from Daily Mail Rewards and £5 moc.

Received £4 in Paypal from Pinecone

Total for May so far: £34:j

Car still out of action:mad: so unless I can team-up with a friend who's planning to go anyway I'll have to miss selling at this weekend's car boot sales. Might make me bite the bullet and get listing on eBay again.

Have a great Bank Holiday weekend everyone:beer:

I guess it depends on whether you go down the line of counting it when you earn it (April) or counting it when you have he money in hand/bank (May) IYSWIM Don't know which camp you're in :rotfl:

    Hi All,
Thanks so much Aesop for keeping this thread going year in year out. I am for the first time in about 6 years in debt :eek::eek: Fortunately we are in debt to ourselves (savings) and money we have put away for our boys future university so not true debt but scary enough. The debt is for solar panels which will eventually pay for themselves but still.........
I'd like to say £10 a day but have a manic May with 3 charity events taking up 3 of my weekends and friends visiting the 4th so I will try to smash £5 a day.

    Hello!

    Solar panels - great idea!!

Thanks for starting this thread all those years ago. This thread is one of the reasons that gave me the confidence to give up my career as a medical doctor.

Yes, from small acorns grow big trees. Or something like that.
Summer fun: continuing my Buy Nothing, Kondo-ing quest as we hurtle towards multi-generational financial freedom.
  • Setting myself a target of £500 for May. Overtime alone should be around £360 so hopefully £500 is doable.

    Good luck everyone. :)

    Hi all,

Been a long time lurker on this forum, so many useful topics and the kindness and support on here is breathtaking.

I'd love to be added to the challenge for £5 if I'm not too late. I currently do surveys from a few different websites plus the odd bit of selling on Ebay so hopefully I can make my target of £5 a day!:D
    Debt paid: (started Feb 2015)

    £1760.72/14528.86

    Make £5 a day challenge: £50.18/£155

Batgirl I always count money from sales/survey redemptions etc and vouchers when the money actually reaches my Paypal/bank account or the vouchers are in my hand/electronically in my possession. It's very rare but not unknown for survey and other online companies to not pay up:eek:, so I never count my chickens. I'm just following the advice of 'old hands' on here.

Nice to 'meet you' at last. Thanks very much for starting the original thread. I agree with you, it could run forever:j
