At last, my 2nd UU for May!
Laid Bare Pack Your Bags Eye Cream - WMBA for the right price. Otherwise it is just too expensive. Opened a new one - by nature, a New Zealand one.
Things are taking ages to use. Still I have a few splutterers on the go so maybe June will see more things go.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
TA - half a bottle of serum that I loved but couldn't find till now. Prompted me to move all my bits and pieces into the one spot where I'd look for them as opposed to where I'd assume they'd be ... fingers crossed that it works - I hate throwing stuff away!Looking ahead0

I have 1 UU and 2 INS
UU's
25) Dark Silver shade from my Makeup Revolution Palette. 7 shades left (Black, lighter shimmery brown, bronze, chocolate shimmery brown, light grey, Matte brown and a cream highlighter shade).
INS
3) Lip Silk Lip balm in Rasberry that looks like an EOS balm dupe but the packaging is very plasticy. Not sure how I feel about it yet I'll probably form more of an opinion after I've used it up 1/4-1/2 way through. I always find with lip balms (baby lips, Nivea etc) the top layer is always a bit weird until I use it about 4-5 times and it becomes soft). Not sure why I bought this perhaps because I've got less than 1/4 left of my Nivea balm and a baby lips in quenched.
4) w7 wicked whip creme foundation (13g)- Again not sure why I bought this. I finished up a Maybelline dream matte mousse earlier this year which I also started liking after half way through. I kinda miss it because it was soo easy to apply in the morning with my fingers and needed no powder on top because it was matte.
@asajj I always use a sponge (disposable ones). But its up to you what you prefer and what gives your skin a more flawless look. For me, the disposable sponges work well especially with blending.
I'm looking at my inventory and I noticed I go into panic mode when theres like 2-3 items left in a category even though I don't 'need' anything. Hence the recent purchases.0 -
Thanks ladies for the warm welcome back! This is such a lovely supportive thread and I really miss it when I'm too busy with RL to post.
Willowbee - well done for resisting the urge to splurge! I've found that I'm getting better at resisting too, normally opening my toiletries spreadsheet or the bathroom cupboards helps deter me - I sometimes feel quite panicky at how much "stuff" I have. Failing that I fill an online basket with some goodies and normally by the time I've done that boredom has set in! Avoid the shops at all costs!!
asajj - I never wear foundation, only tinted moisturiser infrequently, but I use a brush to apply - this one: http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/146/285/Products/Brushes/Face/190-Foundation-Brush/index.tmpl expensive but I love it.
I have my three UUs as I hoped!
13/85. Sanctuary Foaming Bath Soak 75ml - nice enough but repurposed as shower gel and wouldn't go out of my way to buy - this came as part of a gift set.
14/86. S&G Feel Good Factor Moisture Lotion SPF 25 50ml - WMBA but I tend not to use moisturisers with SPF ( I know) as they are usually quite heavy on my skin I find. This wasn't, though my skin does feel a little more congested at the moment that normal. This lotion came in a set last January sales... I'm actually doing pretty well on the facial skincare front, there was a time I never imagined needing to repurchase anything but I think that day may come towards the end of the year!
15/87. Paul Mitchell Thicken Up Extra Body Styling Liquid 25ml - probably WNBA as doesn't seem to do a great deal, but it's fine. I have a full size left in the stash, and paid only £1 for both recently so really can't complain!
I think that's probably it for me this month so will see you all In June - happy weekend!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
INS - 3 tubes of serum courtesy of Boots testing. it's an 8 week test but the serum will probably last 3 months. Not a biggie as I rarely buy serum now for that reason.
Trip to the supermarket and there were quite a few marked down toiletries but I resisted ...Looking ahead0 -
Hi guys. I have been away for a few days and have just caught up with the thread.
FizzWhizz - hope your DH is feeling better today.
asajj - I use brushes and/or fingers depending on the foundation, some just seem to work better with one or the other. If I use a brush I always do a final blend with fingers to get rid of brush marks.
I have an in
Korres Wild Rose Lip Balm
I came very close to purchasing a Jo Malone fragrance but decided they are just too expensive and it didn't last long enough when I sampled it. If I fancy a fragrance splurge I will buy a bottle of L'eau d'issey which is one of my all time favourites.

Few UU:
M&S pomegranate body butter 200ml - repurposed as a foot butter as it smelt off. Ok for that but WNBA.
Pantene nature fusion oil therapy hair mask - does the job well & smells pleasant WBA. This was found in poundland so a bargain.
Medipure hair & scalp anti dandruff shampoo - WMBA does the job ok but I do prefer vosene which you can always pick up in the pound shops. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018
