Spaking only for myself I would neither know, nor particularly care one way or another.
Speaking only for myself, I can only assess the merits of McDonald's bacon or otherwise based on my own liking for bacon, and my own view of McDonald's.
Would you be happier if I revealed that KFC offers more chicken in its bargain buckets on Ilford High Street than in Bermuda?0 -
is there any area in East London or Essex that has lowish value and it is going to increase because of a new shopping centre or transport work?0

You continue to ignore the advice given to you many times to think laterally. e.gis there any area in East London or Essex that has lowish value and it is going to increase because of a new shopping centre or transport work?
Palermo is much better than Ilford, Grays, Essex or come to that, if Palermo is too far, Catania, or maybe Plumstead (which is set a bit closer to you than either P or C as only being across River Thames rather than across mediterranean sea) and more importantly, set to increase in value with magnificent infrastructural increases in rail cross.
I am uncertain about bacon in this options however.

(PS- did you ever take up the options offered to you by an Italian correspondent in that other thread you posted about where to invest your Euro-millions; viz; Palermo? You seem to be missing opprtunities tutti giorni)?0 -

I don't think you fully understood my post
A 50 years flat, what would need in maintenance?
Would you buy a 50 year flat? What if you have to spend another 20k for repairs, so that it would cost you as if you bought a new?
I don't think you fully understood my post, either, but never mind.
Yes, I would buy a 50 year old flat, if it passed the survey with only minor niggles. I grew up in a house well over 100 yrs old, it really wouldn't bother me.
What would need changing would completely depend on the quality of the originals, and if anyone else in the intervening 50 yrs had already done maintenance. I would assess this, offer an amount of money accordingly and either be the lucky buyer or not.Mortgage - £[STRIKE]68,000 may 2014[/STRIKE] 45,680.0
