You can drop in there on your way home from Lakeside. If it's the one thing that is problematic about Grays, then driving 1 mile each way is hardly a problem. You could probably walk.South Ockendon is very far from Grays, it doesn't worth the fuel and time
Aldi's vary a bit. Mine is excellent. I would avoid Everyday Essentials products unless I already know they are good.Aldi has very low stock maintenance and everything I tried so far is absolutely garbage, from chicken, tomatoes, to rubbish bags and shower gel0 -
not convenient
they force you to spend £25
and it costs £1
if you order 200 times in a year is a whopping £200!
plus you don't see what you get
you don't take advantage of offers
you forget what you want to buy if you don't visit it
You shop four times a week?!
And an 8 minute drive is a problem?
Maybe you should buy the Asda and build a flat above it.0 -
ok, I had a thought and I would like to ask: so you say that close to amenities is not important, age of building is not important, then WHAT is important for you? because I don't see anything else important to consider
and don't tell me the price, because it is the first I consider0 -
Number of bedrooms, layout, condition of house, garden, size, detached/semi, area etc.0

Schools, transport links, parking, parks...0

Also, I would still consider supermarkets etc but an Asda within 8 minutes sounds fine. I don't get the problem.0

I start to consider Ilford as a good place to live. Any opinions?
Also, are there any high streets that are pedestrian only roads in East London / Essex?
I like that and I think Ilford has it, any other area?0 -
Go for a walk and look for yourself. It's a lovely day. Let us know what you find pleeeeease.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...
:D:D0 -
Apparently McDs in Ilford is very generous with their bacon.0
