    Hi all

Feeling a bit bleugh. There has been a flu bug doing the rounds at work and I have a horrible feeling I am coming down with it. Hoping that some echinacea and an early night might just fend it off.

LW I hope the car journeys soon get easier. I can understand why you feel scared though.

We have decluttered some more rubbish to the tip and I reluctantly helped OH tidy the shed. The shed is his domain and it is really messy. Last autumn I spent most of a weekend helping him to reorganise it but he just wont put anything away properly so I don't really see why I should help. Sigh.

Washing and ironing done, hoovered and dusted right through and had a general tidy.

Need to sort the kitchen out after a late tea but will try and rope the family in to help.
  • Evening all - we're back!

Didn't take laptop so have just caught up with the thread - backwards - which I must admit was rather confusing so I won't do it again! LOL.

Had a brilliant time and weather was lovely - until on return journey. Managed to get done all and more that we had hoped and had a great catch-up with DS and then today with DS, DS GF and puppy. Now must get to bed ready to clear hall of all carp we dumped out of the car and the washing mountain - tomorrow is another day!!!

    Catch up tomorrow.x

    A day of achievements today!
Firstly, I lost 2 lb when I was supposed to be losing 1lb! :j
Second, we have finished tidying and cleaning and packing the garage! It's probably a bout 1/3 full now Instead of being completely chocca! Some stuff take to the tip and lots f things photographed ready to advertise for selling!:T
I have also taken the car to be washed (made the most of being out in the car with no kids and no car seats, and most importantly no cr*p in the car), done the weekly shopping, done a meal plan, cleaned out the fridge and freezer, washed our bedding and done two ther loads of washing.

Won't get much done tomorrow as we are at church in the morning and then it is my nieces birthday so will be over at theirs for most of the day.

    List to do ...

Thrilling Thursday - Kitchen and Dining mess
    Sweep and mop the floor
Wipe dining table and replace cloth if needed
    HHI x 2

Friday Frolics - Guess what it's catchup day!
    S&S the bathroom
Make a note of any calls you need to make or appointments that need keeping this weekend!

    Morning All

Well I abandoned my kitchen last night at 7.45 and went to bed nursing a migraine so I've come down this morning to stuff still all over the floor. I've done about half of the cupboards but need to finish it completely this morning. Still feel a bit yuck but I've taken some more tablets and I'm sure I'll live.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

In bed with a :coffee:. Kids are playing and there is tray of breakfast things up here so we are not rushing to get up.

Lol DD just came in asking "where's the prince?" assuming she meant DS I replied "he's gone to get some pants" :)

It's my wedding anniversary today. I've had the same number of anniversaries without him as I had with him now. Which is an odd feeling. But I'm not going to be despondent. Inlaws sent me some lovely flowers.

So we are just going to crack on with the normal Sunday stuff, playing, Sunday dinner, laundry (ugh it's persistent rain here since last night). But I've an extra day to dry uniform.

We are out to play later on with the other beaver leaders kids. We need a planning meeting for camp so agreed a playgym would be a good bet. Lots of coffee and keeps the littlies busy.

Want to have a fridge clear tonight too, weekly shop coming in morning.

Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday x

ETA not sure what the icon on my post is about, lol

Bossy big hugs sweetie, maybe today is why you had the post holiday blues, be kind to yourself.

Raining her today which is a shame as I had wanted to hunt out a bluebell wood. Instead I shall make a start on kondoing the paperwork.

    To do:
    Wash cricket whites
    Clean shower room
    finish mending
    ironing
    decide on something for dinner
buy shoes for interview (still to decide what to wear)
    15 minutes tidying kitchen
Move some money and check some accounts
    Change DS2 bed
Pot on a the last of the seedlings.

Plenty of rain here overnight, so my garden is looking happy and green. We have a few bluebells of our own, but I might hunt out a wood-full while I am out this afternoon, just for the scent! The rain has stopped now and won't be back here until 5 pm according to the BBC :)

House remains tidy, and I decluttered a bit more paperwork yesterday. Still lots to do, but a less busy week ahead.

Trying to sort out June and September holiday bookings today, as well as visits to/from friends and family.

    ((Hugs)) to bossy.
