Boys are bossed to get dressed and take the binbags to the chazzer.

Henry is downstairs so I need to clear some floor in the back room and I can vacuum right through downstairs which is absolutely necessary now as the small naughties have sprinkled cereal about the floors.. I went up to the loo and gathered some washing and OH was 'watching' them.. gggrrrr

Grass front and back cut and edges looking neater. Just had an early lunch. Will see if I can get the second washload on the line, more in the machine, will then wash the lunch dishes and get back out in the greenhouse.

I had to run out and bring the washing in as it started to rain but luckily it was pretty much dry. Now sorting out my kitchen cupboards!

Two washloads done and dry, third can stay in the machine as its also raining here now, and over 2 hours more time spent in the garden. Most planting now done.

Having a cuppa and will walk the dogs again if dry, if not I'll half-watch the cycling while doing the finances.

HoneyBear I am totally in love with your new friend but I do have a very soft spot for border collies as my grandpuppy is one! I do hope everything works out for you both.

I think once you've got used to any breed it's difficult to adjust to another but I just don't think where we are is suitable for a purebred collie so I've always had collie crosses or collie types. After those deeply unflattering photos were taken and I'd met him they finally bathed him and clipped his fur and he now looks much smaller, smarter, and cleaner - which were all desperately needed. They'd had to sedate him to cut the mats out of his fur. I'm carrying on working on his grooming issues and he's coming on well already.

And well done to Mr Elastic with the new walker. Freedom! There'll be no stopping him now he's got his independence back.

Oh the joy.. Dot (yes her again!) devoured a chocolate bunny a whole easter egg, 2 wispas and a piece of mouldy cake then had meatballs and spaghetti.. it has since been scraped off her, the floor, her bed and out of her hair.. 3 times... I despair!

Wow! That is some feast. I couldn't manage all of that as an adult so how that implet managed to fit it all in staggers me. Hardly surprising it didn't stay 'in' for long though. Depewifying vibes heading your way.

HB - new dog looks gorgeous

Doggy news here: Two visits to the vet for OldDog this week - £260 decluttered. She is walking better now, but other things seem to be falling apart (I know that feeling). Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of it soon, but she is very old now.

He is, thank you, and you have been missed so it's good to see you posting again. Sorry to hear OldDog is under the weather (*ouch* in the bank account department) and healing vibes heading her way.

Local history day here, so I've spent all day listening to interesting people talk about interesting things, while OH has been on dog-settling-in duty. On his watch Kelpie has tinkled on one of the lodger's dirty laundry, and stolen cat food from a kitchen counter top, so he's settling in nicely, I'd say. Much easier to manage than an implet with a chocolate fetish, and cheaper than an Elsa-focussed imp - so far.

It's raining here and due to do so for at least another five days so I can't do any laundry (no hardship there), the garden's finally getting a good soaking and nothing's screaming at me Flying-wise as urgent. An unusual feeling.
    Better is good enough.

HB what a beautiful doggie - and what a lucky one to be going to the HB household!:o

Jazee healing vibes for OldDog; is it just her age catching up with her?

Sorry I've been AWOL again; I'm just so tired, even more so than usual, if that's possible. I'm taking even longer than usual to do anything, so MSE tends to slip off the list completely.:(

Went into town today (Mr LW has finally got a courtesy car; only took 3 days to organise) and I shook throughout the entire journey.:(

Flying is really haphazard as you can imagine - but we have started prepping the kitchen for repainting the ceiling and walls - managed to box up my recipe books, in such a way that they are spine-upwards and I can still access them; also removed the medicine cupboard from the wall (this is separate from the bathroom cupboard, and houses all our prescription meds) and took down the book shelf; and Mr LW has done a preliminary clean of the worst bits.

It's not easy doing all this round two lively and inquisitive Cocker Spaniels - specially as said Spaniels have 4 l-o-n-g walks per day! But we're getting there, slowly.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Back room cleaned.. still full of crud but much cleaner. 2 shelf units erected for DVDs/games etc.
Washing caught up with.. again. I have folded most of it and it is away.

Stuffing my chops and then sucking the floors. Saturday night excitement.
