Whats the best Deal? Talk Talk??

Hi,

I am looking at changing my ISP to one that can provide fast broadband (4gb month) with unlimited day/eveing calls and include the BT line rental.
There are lots of posts but I seem to go round in circles.

At the moment we pay:
£17.99 for Madasafish Broadband (good & v.reliable)
£10.50 BT line rental
£11.00ish Tesco unlimited calls

So basically best part of 40 quid.

Have seen that Talk Talk can do all inn for just over 20 quid, but very very wary as feedback has been horrific.

Are there any other good alternatives out there - have been offered all 3 with Madasafish for £33.97.

Also have Sky - sports package at £38 a month maybe combine that as well if possible but not in a cable area.

thanks for any advice

Can you get Sky broadband in your area?
    Check you phone number http://broadband.sky.com/
If you can then its pretty much a no brainer:
    Up to 8mbps, 40gb cap £5.00 a month.
There is a Sky talk product but I know nothing about it.

If nothing else that Tesco package seems stupidly high. You could get teh same package with BT for £7.95.

    Thanks for the replies.

I can't get the base/mid/max broadband packages from sky so they want £17 for just that - worth a try so thank you for the suggestion.

The Tesco fee is about £9 or just under but I normally have a few other mobile calls that take it up.

Bite the bullet and go for talktalk, if you struggle at all there are plenty of people and talktalk staff that watch these boards who can offer you advice.

Most customers transfer over with no issue whatsoever.

Its really not what I've heard and seen in forums.
Most people here are writing of the desparate sitution they are in with them so I dont feel that tempted.

    Thanks for trying though:wink:

On a forum you will very rarely find good reviews. If somthing is working people take it for granted and do not search out forums such as this for help.

One of the reasons i help and offer advice on forums like this is because as an employee of talktalk i do acually care for the customer. There are plenty of other people who assist as well in there on time.

I transferred to TalkTalk with minimal hassle. We pay under £19 a month for everything you currently get for your £40.

Well Done TalkTalk Boy for coming on the forums to offer help and support!!

My parents have Talk Talk Line Rental and Broadband and have not had any problems with the service.

In fact, I can honestly say that if i've ever had to speak with the staff at Talk Talk Customer Services they are pleasant and very professional. What I can recall of BT is poor service, long call queing systems and VERY expensive broadband!!!!

Keep up the good work Talk Talk - You've got my vote!!! :)
