    Hi All

    Ally -Thanks for answering my questions :) 8 years is a slog, well done for sticking with it. I'd say I've been going around 3 years so far but with some points the debt has just increased due to bad times & so I should be further on than I am.

    Mine went up three years ago when we couldn't resist an overseas holiday :o and then last year when both our cars went to the scrapyard in the sky :mad:. Stuff happens!

    That being said the holiday was amazing and I think of it often.

    Evening Campers,
    Busy day here at t'ranch, much of it money saving:
    *Checked online banking. No nasty surprises.
    *Did 3 surveys & cashed in my points for another £15 Saintsbury's gift card.
    *Booked tickets for when family visit next weekend. Mr f & me allowed to go on family ticket too, so saved a few quid.
    *Made bread & rolls.
    *Dinner from freezer- the other half of the curry feast I cooked a few weeks ago.
    *Sowed beetroot & runner beans.
    *Planted out loads of lettuces.
    .*Planted spare lettuces in metal basket thing from ancient bread machine to stand on kitchen window sill for a living salad bowl for snipping.
    *Free fitness - lots of weeding.
    Nice weekend planned for run up to my birthday.
    Love to all,

    Can you tell me what site/where you do these surveys please? I could manage a survey or two when the kids are in bed :)

    Go back to page one of this thread and you'll see a green list of sites often mentioned in this thread. It's post #2 from me. Check out iSay, Toluna, Swag bucks, OnePoll etc. Also there's a link called Survey Sites on the list.

    Hannah - I know, it's been since the 2nd of March when I made the order. PayPal did take a long time to sort it. But at least they have.

    Evening all.

    Hmm... the MiL wanted to go into town and isn't local to us so I drove her in. And spent money. None of it rubbish, but stuff I could had held off getting until another time.

    An NSD tomorrow though!

    I've gone to be early and the dogs flowed me up. I have a backdrop of one of the dogs gently snoring and heavy rain (my windows are open) It's lovely and soothing :-)

    Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning All
    Turned out to be quite a good money saving day yesterday.
    Found 14p roadkill
    Managed to get bike panniers for much less than the pair I was considering so only £8.50 each rather than £39 a set
    OH and I had free coffee in one of the big coffee shops using loyalty points
    Got 2 for 1 on DVD hire from the library and 1 for free using points so 3 movies for £1
    Took packed lunch to dance class & cycled everywhere, I think we did around 15 miles in total.
    I had a YS whole chicken in the fridge reduced to £2.60, so cooked that and we had it with salad. Today it will do sandwiches and a rice and beans combo tonight.
    Used some chives from the garden in the salads
    Put the washing out on the line, which has been soaked overnight but will hopefully still dry.
    Used recycled paper for wrapping the child's birthday gifts for yesterday's party. Regifted an item, then bought 2 small additional items to top it up.
    Went to Mr T's to add on 11 points from reciepts my OH hadn't claimed. Only need around 140 more in this collecting period for another free pass to the theme park/zoo we like going to. We already have 1 pass from last collecting period.
    Husband tried to fit a new part on his bike to save the service cost but sadly he can't so we will need to pay the £35. But at least we tried and know we couldn't save the money.

    Today is wet here currently. May try and find some marathon action to watch later on but probably a pottering day.

    Morning guys :wave: jeez I feel out of the hoop being an occasional poster now :( Will try to post more regularly so I can keep up with the goings on!

    Woke up at 6 depite not going to bed until 2! Imagine I'll sleep well tonight! Am driving to Taunton in a bit and away for a couple of days doing training. Have spent time looking for things to do so I can make the most of child free time! :T

    Have found the local swimming pool as a sauna & steam room so going to go there for a fraction of the cost of a sauna and found a sushi restaurant I am going to treat myself to :beer: taking work and a couple of books to keep me ut of mischief the rest of the time ;)

    Done so far:

    * checked banking & finally paid gardener!
    * researched some toddler games to keep dg busy/entertained at times giving us a bit more time to do chores/jobs
    * ordered some bits for this - researched best prices
    * hung up load of washing
    * tidied up kitchen
    * boxed up some bits to donate to work and declutter
    * rejigged by budget for next month to take into account buying a new phone

    Need to do before I leave at 10:

    * make packed lunch/coffee/drinks for journey
    * made a list of things I need to do over the next few days and will set calendar reminder on my phone
    * call tesco club card and get replacement key fobs
    * [STRIKE]chop & freeze peppers[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]chop, cook and freeze apples[/STRIKE]
    * call vodafone and get them to send me a new sim for my new phone :)
    * do usual tyre pressure, check water, remove things from car
    *[STRIKE] put box of things for work in my car![/STRIKE]

    Ok that's my lot. Have a lovely few days guys x
