£29.22 for me today please Dizzy :)

Hope you're feeling better soon Erme, and that your soda bread turns out well!

Sure my woes can be sorted out with better eating and better pacing of self LOL

soda bread was more like scone bread - soooooo sweet :). But at least it rose :). So has potential and took only a few minutes to mix up (remember that Kenwood whoopsie towards the end of debt busting? Yeah - I have a rule - if it can't be made in a kenwood - I don't make it LOL)

and I have a wee £10 from spare cash (as in hard simple cash) -

Soda bread helped me snack this am - not so good this pm - I so will get there!!!

Finally, it's the weekend! Hope you all survived Black Friday, as it's allegedly the worst day of the year from a financial perspective? Well it's over and we're through and out the other side, ready to smash these debts....oh, ahem, sorry folks, got a bit carried away...:embarasse

Black Friday saw PADs totalling a not too shabby £214.47, which for this late stage in January is rather bloomin' marvellous!

Erme's [STRIKE]scone-making[/STRIKE] soda bread episode made me laugh. After setting fire to the caravan cooker last week, I think any attempt at baking has been crossed firmly off my list

Another small PAD for me as hubby's payday is still some days away...£10 Keep PADding peeps x

I am the wifey who invented the 15p mashed potato recipe for 2! It took me months to perfect and no you can't do it with a hand blender (learnt the hard way!!!) but boy is so simple and takes all of 10 minutes!!!

You want that pming Dizzy? I only thought of soda bread after not putting enough yeast in my original bread - getting up yesterday am to discover no risen bread in fridge and thinking 'sos bread recipe'

Really when I perfect it I'll pm you the recipe. 5 minutes mixing and kneeding (you just bash it/throw it a few times) and 30 minutes in over :D Job done!!!

Now I need my rest days and wish it was a thursday but thursday is chocca. So by friday I spend the am vegging and am thinking - if I eat ready meals half the week what does it matter? So long as I eat :) (that is easier said than done right now :()
