Morning guys!
Thanks for the kind words - it's really inspiring to have the support of everyone here!
I actually feel that financially, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for a first time in a long time. It would normally be this time of the month, a few days before payday, that we'd be scrabbling around for money and checking that there was enough in the bank to last.
I think next month, we may be overdraft free too, which will be nice - not looking at a negative balance all of the time!
I've been inspired by MSE for about 9 years, but never stuck at it, but now I'm determined. My son, 13,said at his parents evening that he didnt really want to go to University because of the debt that he'd end up with - that has spurred me on to do as much as I possibly can to ensure that he doesn't limit himself because of that reason!!!
Anyway, sorry for going on - my PAD today is £5.21.
Been doing PADing for about 12 days and nearly paid back 10% of the debt - how'd that happen!!!:money:Plan to PAD Everyday 2024Credit Card - £3662.99 (int free to 11/11/25) -PAD TotalsJan 2024 -0 -
Morning fellow PADders - another frosty one here! Here's hoping Thursday brings you all something nice (not snow :rotfl:)
Yesterday's total was £205.12 - fabulous work peeps  So pleased to hear you've reached a milestone too rsdiscos. Makes you feel like you're really getting somewhere, doesn't it? Well done x
I hope today is better for you Erme - did you eat too many of those delicious doughnuts?
I'm PADding a cautious £10 today x0 -
It's the last I'll say about it, but they look little ones dressing off yesterday as it's basically healed from the outside. It's amazing! Looks like a bad scratch you wouldn't think he'd had an op! The human body is amazing - though sorry yours is giving you gip Erme, hope you feel better soon.
You sound very positive rsdiscos - PADing is fab! I'm still amazed at how much difference it has made, just being aware of your finances make such a difference. I've gone from checking my bank account twice a month (and dreading it) to checking it twice a day!
Happy payday kirtsypoos, mine is Tuesday but that's OK there's still funds!
Sent some books to Ziffit last week and they paid me, so that's my PAD - a lovely £49.42 to Barclaycard.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Glad your little one is better Sunshine, body heals so quickly it is truly amazing.
