Good morning! I'm at home with just one of my babies today (the bigger one is at nursery!) but I've managed to do precisely nothing! Little one is a limpet who is not easy to please and will not give in to sleep during the day! He's also drinking milk like it's going out of fashion!

Anyway, yesterdays PAD's totalled a splendid £144.19! Think of that sat in notes and coins on your table now, it's a nice amount isn't it!

Special :wave: to justforme and makingitbetterdaily - at the risk of sounding like a broken record this thread has revolutionised my saving and debt paying. Hope to see you every day, even if you cannot PAD every day just drop by and say a festive hello :santa2:

Today's PAD from me is £114.65 - £64.65 to Barclaycard and, with Erme's post in mind, £50 to the EF.

So I've hit my 25% paid off the Barclaycard by Christmas target! Woop! Knowing that I've got a couple of payments in the pipeline I'm going to aim for 30% by Christmas now (this gets addictive lol)

ETA: Makingitbetterdaily I make payments to Barclaycard most days and they are often just a few pounds, they are processed fine. As DizzyImp says many don't take your minimum payment if your PADs through the month exceed the minimum payment, so I just make a note of what the minimum payment is and still make the payment manually on the day it's due (hope that makes sense!!).

ie my minimum payment due on 2nd Dec was £64.16. Between the statement being generated on 9th Nov and the 2nd Dec I had already made PADs above £64.16, so Barclaycard didn't take the DD. So I went online before the 2nd Dec and made a payment of £64.16. You don't HAVE to, but it cancels out your PADs if you don't!

I've probably doubled the confusion now...!!!

I set my barclaycard with a specific amount (my minimum was £79, so i set a monthly payment of £80.00, and this comes out regardless of PADS so might be something to remember if making manual payments is confusing or you have a goldfish memory like me :rotfl:
Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭
