If you need treats - have them. They help maintain debt busting for the long term and I wouldn't have done so well without treats. - But just because it's a treat doesn't mean it has to break the bank - it can be as little as a few pence or a £1. I have a friend who doesn't have much money and her treat is posh tea on china I got for her from a charity shop - doing the whole tea ritual every few days- makes her smile and helps her :-). Earl Grey tends to be cheaper in cafes than a latte - worth knowing - and don't forget your pot of hot water if you intend to people watch for the hour!
and I didn't write that wee paragraph to create trouble - just to say there's more than one way to skin a cat - a £2 treat for me in the summer was drying my washing on the line (was a novelty):dance:
