Why cant I win?

its harder now than its ever been , i have been comping for nearly five years and yeah done pretty well out of it , but the last year the wins have dried up and the little wins to spur you on are becoming rare

i agree the media coverage of the comping lifestyle does not help at all , i dont know many who could quit their day job and live off thier wins , not sure my rent man would except a pack of pens instead of the rent lol , but there has been a big surge in compers and winning seems almost impossible , but somebody has to win!

You are doing much better than myself. I started entering competitions every day in November and have still won nothing at all!


Starting to think there is something wrong with my name LOL! But as the saying goes I have got to be in it to win it!

I don't think you are doing badly at all, I started comping last year and won £5000 in September which is amazing. But haven't won a single thing since then, and I enter tons every day.

Its not YOU!! Remember than are potentially 100,000's of entries into major comps....I personally have had a couple of great years....this year is a wash out....I plod on....sometimes I don't bother at all.....but it wastes a bit of time....and I still enjoy it....if your fed up, give it up for a bit. We'll still b here....!!
