    how about Chafford Hundred then?

I suppose Tilbury and Laindon are sarcasm
Another vote for Chafford Hundred. Decent train service straight to London. You are right on top of Lakeside too for a range of restaurants.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

guys, I am afraid that life will be much more expensive in Romford, what do you think?

For example, I cannot find a gym with less than £40/month! Which is a ridiculous amount for gym membership, I would give max £20! Do you know any romford gym with that price?

Join vitality health - and you get Virgin active membership for half price. The Virgin active in the Brewery in Romford is about the best there is locally and has a pool etc.

Of the choices offered - yes Romford - especially if you work in London. It has fast trains and Crossrail coming - and prices are cheaper than most other zone 6 areas.

Yes it can be a bit rough on Friday and Saturday evenings around the station/town centre - but what town centre with pubs and clubs isn't.

Alternative Gidea Park - pricier - or Chadwell Heath/Harold Wood may be good options. Both Crossrail too.

    Rayleigh is very village
does it have schools for A-levels? Does it have places for children to learn languages? To play? I don't know, I have never bee

I have been told that Dagenham is awful, not sure. Is it a south asian ghetto too? Not sure. Rainham would also be an option that I haven't yet explored

You seem to relying at lot on hearsay. I think Dagenham would suit you down to the ground but I'm only judging you on your laziness and rather odd priorities .

Maybe you should get off your backside and go look for yourself ?

Seriously there are some very nice areas in and around Romford. Gidea Park and Hornchurch for instance and house prices in Brentwood are ridiculous.
