how do you find my approach to search for residence? any comment?

I would have thought that the most important thing would be to visit the various places and see whether you like them or not. What one person might find attractive in a place (say lots of new-build housing) another person might actively dislike.

I'm not sure why you are not considering price/value for money. I'm pretty sure that would be the main consideration for most people.

I also don't understand what seems to be a slightly confrontational aspect to some of your posts. For example, your comments about Wickford, above. If you wouldn't consider it because of a lack of shops, then isn't that enough?

how did you deal with having in Wickford only Aldi and Iceland, which are almost out of stock midday and offer limited products, and you need to drive alot to go to an Asda/Tesco?

    Iceland does cracking Ostrich steaks.

    Do kids go to gyms?

As a general rule, the more rural the area, the more ferrying around (by you/other adults) there is likely to be.

    .
there is a special gym for kids in Billericay lol

You mean like an active play centre kind of thing, or an actual gym with weights and things?

Which children would they be, then? Your own, or just any old children?

There is a fairly large Co op too. Plus plenty of independent shops. Bakers, greengrocers. It has everything you need.

How are you going to buy and pay a mortgage '2 or 3 bedroom house or flat' (so that covers about 80% of the national housing stock) on a salary of £16.5K?
That's before you pay for your car, gym, and music and language lessons for your as-yet unborn children. Not forgetting the immediate extension to your leasehold property...

I would say stick to a place that's on the C2C rail line rather than the Southend Victoria line. C2C is miles better and a bit cheaper than Greater Angrier.
