I might pop and see my friend today as she is on holiday this week
I really need to weed the front garden and cut thr grass but I'm not doing that until the rubbish has gone

Morning all..............(((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))) if you need one..............
Have not read all the posts yet but we are on our way to the lottie.........my friend moves into her new apartment tomorrow so when I get back I will be moving some of her stuff for her, linen etc, she is moving upstairs from downstairs...........I sorted out a little present for her, she is mad on sunflowers and I had a pan holder and tea towel with sunflowers on.....will also get her some flowers...........
Its a nice bright morning, I have put some factor 50 suncream on, I do tend to burn otherwise...........we have finished digging but I need to dig up the last of our spuds, the ones I dug up on Monday had either slug or worm damage and had to be chucked which is a bit of a shame, it means I will have to buy spuds this year.
Right OH is champing at the bit, so I had better go..............see y'all later...September grocery budget........trying for £80, not sure if I will make it though!!!!! I certainly did not last month, lost track of the final bill. Will do better this month honest.

Morning All
(((Hugs))) to Pink Winged and anybody else who needs them.
Off out on a free day out today with the LO and her cousins. The local park is having a fun day so hopefully its only going to cost the price of an ice-cream. About to peg out my last load of holiday washing and tonight I'm going to iron the lot. The water board are still messing around replacing the water main so the water is off again today, hopefully it will be sorted tomorrow. Before we go out I need turn the remain of last nights spag bol into a Chilli with the help of Kidney beans and baked beans to pad out the remains of the mince.
Have a great day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

JACKIEO - thinking about you for tomorrow and have got my candle ready - I'll light it in the morning. Many many (((hugs))) for you and can't wait for it all to be over so you can tell us how you've revolutionised the way the hospital is run! GOOD LUCK! GOOD LUCK! GOOD LUCK!
By the way, I am definitely in the market for a young Tom Cruise so, if Dan needs an agent or a secretary or a cook-and- bottle washer, here I am!
RECOVERINGSPENDAHOLIC - Welcome to you! I'm sure you'll have fun on here with the rest of us. We are a lovely bunch, if I may say so! What bad luck you seem to be having with your appliances - I hope they get sorted out soon.
MRSMIX - that rubbish situation sounds a real pain in the a***! I wonder if you could ask the council to clear up all the mess - you shouldn't have to do it or put up with it.
Well, have just been up to the shop to get the paper and post some letters and a parcel to my mum; I've sent her some photos from DS1's wedding in June together with a delicious looking bar of chocolate. She loses weight easily and we are always looking for ways to fatten her up!
The sun is beaming away merrily at the moment. I have a load of washing on the line; BM is on and smelling delicious and I'm going to try the recipe for chocolate truffles from last night's Cook Yourself Thin programme - they look really easy to do. I am also going to have sausages and tomatoes for dinner a la Jamie Oliver from his new series, also on last night. He did wonders with tomatoes - I think he's brilliant.
This foot-and-mouth outbreak sounds worrying - I do hope the Government handles it properly this time - the effects last time were devastating.
Well, off now to do something. See you all later.

Kathy the neighbours have cleared it up now the council won't because it's inside the gate
to be honest I'm getting fed up with both lots of neighbours the one's with the rubbish keep complaining about the parking whilst I aggree with some of the issues he is the worst for taking up 2 parking spaces then he writes letters to the council mp ect and puts my name on them as well and gives me copies afterwards
the other side have 2 girls one is really nice the other is a little whatsit her favourite trick at the moment is wait until I'm not in and then throw rubbish stones ect into my back garden I just have'nt managed to catch her yet
if we could afford to move we would but at the moment we're stuck
pam xxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

Morning all, Hello newbies!
Been up since 8 but only just seem to have got in gear. I think I should NOT turn on the computer for the first 2 hours of the day. I get so caught up in reading folks mails etc. the day is half done and my ooomph has gone by the time I'm finished!
Went to lottie yesterday planning to spend an hour - spent 3.5 hrs instead, clearing up and having a big bonfire of rotten wood & weeds. Shouldn't have bothered washing my hair! Fire followed me all around the lottie for most of the time.
Also took down 30 5lt water containers we snaffled from local recycling! The lottie doesn't have running water (except in floods) so we have loads of milk bottles etc storing water butt water and that we use to transport bathwater most years. All the big bottles mean I can get recycle the milk bottles and the lottie will look neater. And tomorrow I get to collect 2 dustbins with taps from a freecycler to store even more!
Did so much hard work I ached! Still ache today. Not sure what to do. Must get on with .... oh everything
Ellie2912 - love George Bush's name! :rotfl: Made American OH laugh. Cats can get themselves into trouble can't they? Glad he's ok.
Snowy - will you try swapping bedding etc around so they get used to each others smell? I'm sure they'll settle. Bailey used to do "Dinner plate" eyes at Finlay - before rushing out of the catflap but they are at nose-sniffing stage now (and Bailey'll trap Finlay under one paw when he misbehaves). Maybe they're unsure about having a girl in the housePetal sounds a lovely name. OH wanted to call Finn "Guy" - but I told him there was no way I was going in the garden calling out "Guy" to get him in for food!

Hi Mrs Mix
Neighbours can be a nightmare can't they, most of ours are ok, the only one I have a problem with is a child who keeps knocking on my door & running away, it gets tedious, especially when I'm upstairs & come all the way down & there is no one there. I've actually caught her twice, once I threw water over her & once I flung open the kitchen window & she ran into it & gave her self a black eye. Unfortunately her mother always sticks up for her!

Just popped in to wish all the best to JackieO for tomorrow. I have a candle for you which I will light tonight, it's Lavender which should be nice and calming.
Keep smiling Jackie and don't scare the nice young Drs by flashing your big knickers.0
