Of course the person without the problems, keep wanting to help her quit so we can go back as it was....in the good old days lol.

Saw her today when I dropped the youngest off at her mums and she was fine and we get on well and I still fancy her like mad! I know the right thing is to stay well clear as we've been here before - not quite up to this point but have split before and I've taken her back so I know she isn't likely to change her ways.

I think you are confusing entirely normal feelings of loss with wanting her back. You are sad because when you see her sober, you think about what could have been... It's normal to yearn for what should have been... it's human to want what would have been in an ideal world.

It just means in your head, you're already moving on, you just have to wait for your heart to catch up. You have invested years of your life with this woman, you have children together. You are now moving in a different direction, so you must expect strong and difficult feelings.

They will pass and you will move past them.
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
