So have I got this right - only people who now purchase something else from Mightydeals will receive the Tesco voucher? I'm sure Tesco will be most interested to hear of your marketing practices.
  • There is a nail set at £5 to use the other voucher against if that helps

Their email is a load of rubbish.

There was nothing in the Terms & Conditions about the requirement to purchase something else to claim the Tesco voucher.

They are banking on people buying more from them in order to secure the Tesco gift card.

The ASA have already had complaints upheld against Mighty Deals. Can they afford to keep breaching the guidelines.

"and as an extra bonus we£re giving you another £5 free Mighty Cash to spend at Mighty Deals!"

So, even if I wanted to spend, where is this free £5 mighty cash?

I've logged into my account and the Tesco order is still there, but when I click the Mighty cash tab, there's a £0 balance??

    All,

You will be sent the redemption link on 15/05/2015 and the eVoucher will be emailed to you within 48 hours of redeeming.

A link to the deal is here: http://www.mightydeals.co.uk/Products/Gadgets-Gifts/National/Tesco-10-for-5-Voucher/57330. If you scroll down you will find the deal terms which explain everything about the deal.

This is the first time Tesco have been able to offer an online giftcard. Previous giftcards were posted out by ourselves. Due to this, we are restricted from emailing the giftcard until Tesco’s launch date.

    Thank you.

So we don't have to buy anything extra with £5 Mighty cash in order to get the Tesco e-voucher?

Not according to the terms of the deal - looks like yet another trick by Mighty Deals. Will they never learn? Nothing's ever straightforward with them - they must just love getting themselves a bad reputation. Masochists?

    All,

Unfortunately our records have indicated many customers have created separate accounts and purchased more than one per customer, or two per household. Our Deal Terms strictly prohibits any customer buying more than one, or more than two per household. These customers will be refunded in full.

Some customers have also unsubscribed as a Mighty Deals customer. As per our deal terms this offer is strictly for loyal customers and new customers. We have refunded your card in full. Please allow 5 to 7 days for your refund to clear.'

All other customers who purchased the Tesco £10 for £5 Digital Gift Card will receive their redemption link as instructed on May 15th. There is no further obligation to purchase any deals to receive your Tesco £10 Digital Gift Card.

Mighty Deals has sold over 100,000 High Street Deals from many of the UK’s leading retailers such as Tesco, Debenhams, Currys PC World and Argos. We offer these deals to reward loyal customers and to attract new customers. Unfortunately a minority of customers have attempted to purchase multiples by creating multiple accounts. This makes it very difficult to offer these type of deals. For future High Street Deals please ensure you are a registered Mighty Deals customer and follow the deal terms provided.

  • Does this mean that if I do nothing, i.e. don't spend the mighty cash, I will get an automatic refund of the £5 I have paid for the £10 Tesco card without me doing anything or having to make a claim? In any case, I've just checked and there is no mighty cash in my account! So I couldn't spend it anyway. I want a refund as this is not fair play.
