I tend more to the !!!! up than scam theory. I have used them with similar deals before, and there hasn't been a problem.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Can confirm that this is a scam. Apparently they are under investigation. Good source from an ex employee.

unlikely to be a 'scam' similar things happened last year with an Argos voucher.

someone has just messed up with how the attachments are processed and added, a query wrong in a database somewhere.

They will likely sort it out within a few days, its just a matter of manually sending all those who have redeemed them a new email

They changed the terms and conditions after people purchased the deal to avoid having to pay out for this deal. They have had all that money for nearly a month now. I would call that a scam.

This information is in the public domain but I suppose they will get MSE to remove it.

They "sold" 16,000 deals for this offer. So they received £800,000. Who is going to put the other £800,000 needed for the Tesco vouchers, when the owner only had £38,519.85 capital two months ago.

I'm laughing hard at the people here who don't see this as a scam. Of course it is. If you really looked into all of their excuses, you will see why they are doing it. Simply put, they are syphoning those that wont get refunds/apparently violated it/ those that don't complain will be messed over. And that's how they will profit. It's an elaborate scam, because those who complain will get their voucher, but I guarentee you those that don't will be left in the cold.

Don't be so gullible to think that they wouldn't do this just because they successfully outsource products from china/india and sell them as "bargains." Let's not deny that they breached their own T&C's. First they tried to get people to buy things with "mighty cash" and even stated that they you wouldn't get a voucher unless you did it. From there it's been a barrel of lies. That's shady business. Don't try and fool me into thinking that it's just a mess up.

You should really learn and understand how these deals work before posting such drivel.

Mightydeals, would in no way, shape or form be finding this themselves, that will be done by tesco themselves, why? Because mighty deals has millions of subscribers, and how many people will spend exactly the voucher amount in store or online? so 800k doesnt even factor in to the argument, even if that were the case, and mighty deals was funding it, 16,000 items sold at a £5 gap is £80,000, a ten fold difference in cost to your 'calculations' basic maths, but its a moot point, as tesco will be funding it, and a 'promo' at that level is chump change considering they could spend millions on a TV advert, with no real way to see the return.

Even tesco themselves wont be losing out on the 'deal', you see £5 free, tesco see xxx thousands of customers, likely spending much more than the vouchers value, id say the number only spending the £10 voucher will be in a minority.

Unfortunate that this has happened to mighty deals again, but theres always that risk when you're linking in to someone elses system to get all these vouchers issued, some people have said theirs are correct and working, so looks as though something broke with the number of requests.

Like ive said before, similar has happened with Argos 'digital' voucher, which with credit to mighty deals, was sorted out fairly swiftly.

The whole 'terms' issue, cries of 'SCAM' and other conspiracies are quite laughable.
