    Far from just me then.....

Absolute waste of time. Couldn't care less about the voucher now. Money back and never go near this outfit again.

First and LAST time using them I too got an email saying I wasn't getting the deal because I hadn't opened any of their emails. I had actually opened their email only yesterday and had logged into my account on their website to track my Tesco order as I couldn't remember what day this week I had to look for their email with the claim link.

They have had my £5 since 23rd April but apparently I won't be getting it back for a further 5-7 days by which time they will have had it for almost a month!

As far as I'm concerned this was nothing more than a total scam!
    Win's so far: Cadburys Mini Eggs £1.09 Pentel Goody Bag £10 , M&S Luxury Hamper £45, 10,000 Tesco clubcard points (£100) :j

If we all dispute the charges with Paypal and our respective card providers, we can create one hell of a headache for the crooks behind mightydeals!

I also got the e-mail from them, stating that I've unsubscribed being the reason.

This is definitely the last time I'm going to trust them, as I gave them a 2nd chance after I ordered some toilet rolls and had to use a voucher on a 3rd party site. The 3rd party site never delivered, and I ended up using the chargeback service on my credit card for the mighty deals refund as they never responded to my e-mails.

As for the refund, I'm thinking that mighty deals could go down the route of no refunds and no response to e-mails, leaving us to claim a chargeback instead. The problem is that credit card companies would then just take the £5 hit rather than go after mighty deals as the amount is so small, meaning customers get a refund, but mighty deals pocket all the non chargeback amounts.

    Hello,

New here, signed up just to tell my experience from this. I got the deal originally from HUKD. I got the same "if you don't spend mighty cash, your voucher will be refunded," and the "you have more than one account," All BS.

They are a scam company, they have taken the money in bulk to make interest on it, and illegally entice people to spend more money via their mighty cash to release the voucher. They might say they will refund you, but you may find you have to chargeback/dispute it. They have no intention of refunding you, they push it further back to make you give in. Also unrelated, they find products from China and sell them on as packaged bargains. With many people not even having their product turn up.

What makes me laugh is that, the rep says the original "have to spend £5 mighty cash" was an error, and yet when they emailed me they were still using that as an excuse. Their new excuse is the dual accounts. To note their original T&C's when signing up had no mention of any of this at all. So they have dug their own grave.

My review has been censored by them, as is many others. Which I think is a huge violation on consumer rights. I have an uncle whom is a barrister, he has filed an official complaint to ASA and Trading Standards. I have also contacted Tesco who have confirmed that Mighty Deals is not affiliated in any way with them. In fact Tesco stated that the company would have to get permission from them to even do such an offer in the first place. Which is funny because when Mighty Deals emailed me, they said that they were affiliated with Tesco, and working with them on this offer. They have also ammended their T&C's many times.

I ask that you please not ignore this. That's how they win. Please contact Tesco on their facebook. Make them aware of the many people that they have messed with. File a complaint with ASA and Trading Standards. Email Tesco. It may be £5 but that's why they did the deal like that, part of the rouse is to benefit from the people that won't care about taking the loss. It adds up to them.

Legal action can definitely be taken because it has affected so many people on such a large scale. Look at Trust Pilot for example.

    Disgusted, of Tunbridge Wells.
  • Got to be kidding me. The clowns are now doing another one! This time redemption date is now June 1st, for £10. If everyone can notify Tesco to stop these clowns from scamming other innocent people, would be great. Even if you just mention it on their Facebook page it'll get reported.

I too have an e-mail telling me that I won't get the deal as I have unsubscribed as a customer. This is absolutely not the case.
I am totally appalled and I should have taken notice of other people's comments regarding this shower of a company but up until now, apart from a couple of delays, they have always come up with the goods.
If they only had a certain number of these vouchers, they should have restricted the number purchased.
I certainly won't be bothering with them again.
