Any chance they can make it so more than one post can be shown on a screen? Is this trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator?
Ive have to reduce my 'zoom' to 75% - I'll soon need an overhead projector!!0 -
I don't like it at all and have switched to old format.0

The new format is not good - too bright and too spaced out.
Whilst the current (old) format may have been a bit jumbled at times, there needs to be a balance but it isn't there yet.
I have just logged in and the old format has reappeared so that's good, but how do you change it if you're not logged in?0 -

I have to confess it's many moons since I even looked at a pilot version of the new format, and it has probably changed a great deal. It was a very confusing and disappointing experience then, so I switched back to the old format and I can't see a lot of reason for switching to the new format.
Twitter, and perhaps also Facebook, options are quite enticing though - if perhaps a bit too personal, unless you have a number of Twitter/Facebook personalities.
Glad we are still allowed to use the old format, and I hope we will be, for a very long time.0 -

Yes, because that is the version Google will "see" so has to be the mobile friendly one.
These Google changes are going to impact a lot of sites, I desperately need to sort my sites for mobile optimisation.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
On a wide screen notebook the new layout is not good at all on the eyes and I do not like it. I wonder how long it will be before the old layout will be gone even when logged in.0

I recently went to 21:9 which hasn't helped but think in general it looks really dreadful and in particular the navigation is awkward, images don't scale to the window pane properly and it all "feels" very uncomfortable.

I found the new look when I first loaded the forum, but thankfully it changed to the old look once I'd logged in .
I do not like the new look!
Shall I start a campaign to keep the status quo? (forum style, not ageing rock band:p)
We should complain to this Resolver website ;-)0
