Cyprus at the end of March for a week in a villa for some walking ( never been but it was so cheap couldn't resist), long weekend at Download festival in June. These are booked, but planning a couple of long weekends in Europe and a week away in September but not sure where yet. I do need things to look forward to.Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)

Had a few days in Malaga last week. Had raging storms one day, and lovely sunshine two days later.
Only went for three days, and treated it like a city break. Have to say, I much prefer Barcelona and Madrid. Found it a bit underwhelming really.
Still was nice to get away.0 -

Sounds great. Nice variety of trips going on there. I have a weekend in London coming up at Easter, and a music festival in June.:)0 -
Just got back last night from our 10 days in Malaysia.
Our first 3 days were spent in KL, nice hotel The Royale Chulan, quite well located with a free bus around a 10 minute walk away, allowed us to do some exploring for free. There's tons of construction going on in the city. We went to Batu Caves and tbh, I was slightly underwhelmed but glad we went.
Headed off to Penang for 7 nights, first 4 in a beach resort in Batu Ferringhi, we mostly relaxed around the pool during the day & ate locally at places along the night market strip. Moved to Georgetown for the final 3 nights, great hotel with our balcony overlooking the Andaman Sea, used the free bus there too and went to Penang Hill which we both enjoyed. Weather was very hot & humid but virtually no rain to speak of.
Overall, we really enjoyed it and are likely to return at some point I think, possibly as a stopover if we go ahead with our plans to return to Australia next year.
Feeling the jet lag now though :-(0 -
Estepona/Cordoba/Granada/Malaga two weeks mid March
Padova (Padua)/Venice/Ravenna early May
Cruise September but that's not certain as I have never cruised before, but himself would like to. Any tips/hints LOL
Back to Spain October.
No more long hauls for me, did all that when I was younger and had the energy and NO jetlag either.

Just had 3 weeks in lovely Nerja, just east of Malaga. Malaga is underrated, holidaymakers are too intent on getting to their final destination, and so overlook a beautiful city.Back to Spain October.
We're back in November for 3 weeks AI at The Kaktus Hotel in Albir, just north of Benedorm.....got a flyer from Saga yesterday, and jumped at it.
Might do Estepona next spring. No more long hauls for me, did all that when I was younger and had the energy and NO jetlag either.
After many years of memorable longhaul adentures once or twice a year, mainly to SE Asia we've hung our boots up too. Ther's too much still to see closer to home.
At the end of September we're going to Bosnia & Herzegovina [Mostar and Sarajevo] independently for a couple of weeks, topping and tailing with a couple of nights in Split [Croatia].....was in Croatia in April on an excellent 3 centre trip with other other baby-boomers with Saga.0 -
Malta for a week in early September, which is all booked and much anticipated.
Currently planning a trip back to Australia in April next year. Looking at The Whitsundays, possibly Airlie Beach for 4/5 nights then time in Sydney with our DD who lives there. If anyone has any recommendations for the Whitsundays, I'd really appreciate it, thanks in advance.0 -
Doesn't look like I'll get away this year now. The flights I had booked for April were cancelled (connection times changed and no suitable alternatives). I'm restricted to travelling in school holidays and that's not going to work out with family responsibilities at the moment
Maybe next year... but that'll depend on certain family members co-operation.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
